  3. driven a car with this setup on it, car was making 445hp at the hubs full boost at around 4.8 in 4th was a very aggressive setup, not as responsive as u think, but good for street, although didnt belong in a 180sx !!!
  4. what he means by the dust is the tiny particles from ur ceramic exhaust wheel(s) when it pretty much explodes.. get reverted back into the engine if u come off throttle and do damage, if the car is fine atm, dont be worried..... just yet

  6. changing flywheel bolts is not a bad idea, if they have been used over and over you most probably want to change them, if the clutch has never been changed, i wouldnt be too fussed the clutch install will be identical however removing and re-installing the gearbox will involve a few more steps, if you need any specific help just PM. hope that helps

  11. most r32's with this conversion run a different fuel pump relay? look into that, seems your fuel pump isnt up to par in terms of the voltage its getting
  12. turn the car on so its idling, then pull the fuse on the fuel pump and the engine will stall that way, you will have less fuel pressure in that line and less splirting out everywhere
  13. if u take the shaft out wont it leak out of the transfer case on the gbox side? :S
  14. i have an xforce dump and i got a yellow sticker because it was the lowest point on my car 95mm! go to an exhaust shop, im sure they can do sumthing with it
  15. u need to get the car tuned, the revs will develop alot more smoothly and flat spots will be gone does the boost stay 14psi across the whole rev range? no spiking? wind the boost down to 10psi, u wont make much more power on anything more than this unless its tuned
  16. ive done a conversion before, its well worth it, not very difficult at all, only thing i still havent quite figured out is the windscreen wiper motor wiring! grrr
  17. if ur budget is 1500, u have no other choice, put another 20 in if u can stretch ur budget, get an r33 s2 halfcut and convert it

  19. sounds like you have a mild vacuum leak sumwhere, check all vacuum lines, intercooler pipes etc if that fails, check your air flow meter (borrow sum1 elses and fit it to see if it still runs the same) if that fails, post here again and ill keep thinking, theres lots of things i can list but some more obvious/easy things to elimate first before the not-so easy stuff has to be checked, like injectors etc
  20. the injector on the left looks like a neo style injector, oval plug, smaller waist, what is that one? and the yellow one on the right looks like a gtr injector lol
  21. those look like gtr style injectors, pretty fat, low impedence?
  22. so the engine is leaking oil from the head gasket to the OUTside of the engine but the car is still running fine and not even mixing oil with water? what
  23. only thing about very big injectors is that they arent very accurate on idle and if ur padantic about a smooth idle, that could possibly be hindered, all up to the tuner tho, they probably have their secrets
