The answer is simply if you can accept the fact when mod it you will get done eventually every now and then and if your prepared to deal with it rather then bitch about it then go ahead, me personally I like the mods I do and yes I hate getting done but to me driving my car with mods and enjoying it outweighs the price of getting done every now and then I just think of it as a extra tax for driving a skyline.

yeah declibels are not linear going over that shit in uni class at the moment its logarithmic so yeah 1 db is a big difference.

Bought my r33 from there good place overall, the cars they sell tend to be cleaner and better grade ones not lemons.

Well if you fix the dump and still get the leaking noise then you know its from your exhust manifold, dont know about you but I couldnt stand the sound for 1 day driving so replaced it next day and youll be losing some boost and power to.

Your wrong when you said its not the turbo to manifold gasket, I had exact same sound on the revs and it was the turbo gasket, you will even get that tick noise on the revs if you have a exhust leak at the cat to the exhust except it wont be as loud and you will heat more at the back of the car then in the engine bay, but in this case my bet is the turbo gasket.

The intercooler wont give you more power but due to keeping cooler levels it will enable you to create more power since it will not suffer from heat soak. If your gona boost up to 10 and get safc I would recomend getting a front mount.

Thats the turbo to manifold gasket gone had same sound with mine, put your hand around where the gasket is and pull the trottle you will feel air on it, if you want a quick fix and dont wanna take it off to change the gasket rub sum exhuast cement around the flange but yeah ull have to redo that every now and then when it wears off.

all the bovs basically makethe same pshhhh shit except the cheap oones will prob break or leak under more boost if you want a bov noise get a good branded one but my opinion since they are the first thing cops look for just block stock one off and flutter away sounds better than bov and not defectable and also should have your car tuned to running with atmos or no bov to help with the stalling and stuff or if you dont tune it gona have to adapt your driving style so it doesnt stall.

Im using hypergears older model turbo tr43i on 17.5 psi

270 kw stock air box not modfied and the difference without was 2kw

well r33 actuators are 7psi acutaors, put it this way with the stock boost control it wont go higher than what it is now, why you worried about 11-12psi anyway its fine, sure your vaccum source for you boost gauge hasnt got a leak I found my r33 when just cat back and cooler boosting about 11-12 but it was a leak in the boost gauge when fixed that was about 9-10

The rule of thump, with those mods you run bcpres6 copper ones and if you boost past 13-14 go 1 colder and get bcpres7

alot of panel shops dont like to just do a small portion they rather redo the whole front bar but try the mobile franchise guy touch up guy they do great jobs and specialise in doing sectional repairs and it looks like was never done but yeah look aound 3-350 to get that fixed id say.
