  1. Driving a turbo these days on Ps is really hopeless since now there are no more P platers left that are stil on the turbo allowed law.
  2. To get a body kit there are a few online places to try. a few of them are, www.justjap.com , www.carmate.com.au , www.jetspeed.com.au in regards to fitting and paiting just found a local panel beater that seems to do good work as with fibreglass kits the end quality comes down to how much time you spend in trying make it fit nice.
  3. Well this is how the stock piping looks in a r32.
  4. Have you looked at the stock cooler cant you see where both pipes run to?
  5. You dont have to spend 450 bux thats only if your gona use speed flow fittings. The cheap way all you need a 5/8 T piece which is around 20 bux, T that into the the middle connecting hose and the run a hose of the T to the catch and a hose form you turbo intake to the catch, so if anything else you just need hose which is probably antoher 20bux.
  6. Yeah both pipes are under the airbox. Also when you remove the stock cooler you will see both pipes off it go to under the airbox now simply install the cooler and the piping.
  7. Doesnt look like a standard switch so best way would be to press it and see what it does.
  8. You can get them from nissan or try wreckers if your willing to use a second hand one, thats what I did and there fine. Or you can search around for after market ones but yeah like they told you if you take it off and show them itll be easier to match.
  9. Well you have to remember that not all workshops do mechanical work as well as tuning and vis versa, so at the end people are going to give it to a workshop to do a job that it has a good rep for, they might be known as great engine builders but not so known for tuning but then again there are workshops that can do it all. So it comes down to the limits and what the workshop you choose offers whether you stick to everthing there or you out source for specific things.
  10. Yes that is your ball joint. You can grab them from nissan. Also while your there check if the tie rod doesnt have much free play in the hicas.
  11. Just read through your build and Im crushed lol I so want to build up my car like this but yeah dont have the available funds yet, but well done on it great to see the commitment you put in and stuck through it and got it finished its unreal the car. PS you really love your rims lol.
  12. Good work, will be great to see the results now with you being able to run 20+ psi,.
  13. I was thinking aswel it could be a fuel pump issue but Ive got a nismo fuel pump so the mounting and all that shouldnt be an issue since its direct drop in and I had plenty of petrol, and it sort is like a missfire cuase it just stops the car and it like its stuck but yeah my plugs were pretty old so I guess it would be the cheapest thing to check first.
  14. Why do you want to weld the heat shield onto a hi flow cat? Its not like there illegal, people only weld the stock heatshield on when there using a stright pipe to make it look stock.
  15. Im pretty sure similar thing happened to me on the weekend at the track. After a few runs suddenly sometimes as I downshifted to gear 2 and pumped it out of the corner its like the car just stopped and didnt do anything then let off the acclerator and pumped it again and it went, not sure what it was but yeah changed to spark plugs just for the sake of it hasnt done it again but then again it only did it a few times.
  16. I think I seen your car around my area on burwood hwy a few times sounded tuf at winton how much power it pulling.?
  17. Most likely your rocker cover gaskets, easy fix.
  18. Also good point to make for status the service is great they let you hang around throughout the tune and explain any questions you got as its getting tuned really freindly service.
  19. Yeah there always like that its a rip
  20. Found some more photos for you guys here are the links. http://www.ifpix.com/index.php?cPath=375 http://gavinlewisphotography.com/Automotiv...n-Day-July-2010
  21. Both have good rep so I guess its whats closer to you and what you personally choose. I myself got a tune at status and no complaints.
  22. Well peoples results over here on the forum speak for themselves as long as they have a good tune for it they are getting good results and besides the issue of cold starts it is running fine. I know ill be going over to e85 once it hits more servos.
  23. Ahh yep forgot about that paul will give it a try next time driving.
  24. I have the power fc so I cant use consult.
  25. Sometimes when Im driving and if the car goes over really bumpy road or something the check your engine light blinks on for a sec then goes off and not the engine light but the other one which means to check your engine. Since its only coming off on random bumps and stuff I was thinking probably one of the sensors must be faulty or loose.
