  1. let me know next time you plan to go, im still in tas but i'll be up in qld in a few weeks time! wednesday nights used to be better from memory as they were quieter so you got more runs
  2. pfc or nistune? either way, sounds like not much work was done on lower end of the tune also, o2 sensor feedback could be turned off
  3. thats getting better what boost and state of tune is it again?
  4. pretty sure the r31's use the nice sounding one well my 31 sounds normal, i think my 32 may have had a vl one tho thinking back
  5. mine used to have a 40-series battery pretty sure you can fit a 60- series no worries soemthing along the lines of this fits well (same width as the stock tiny one but wider and more cca) :http://www.supercheapauto.com.au/online-store/products/Century-Car-Battery-NS60LS-430CCA.aspx?pid=287272&menuFrom=70701#Description the spot in there is huge tho, so you could probably whack a dunnydore/falcon battery in there with ease (and a new tie down) get the car going and whack a multimeter across the terminals, if its not up near 14v then your alternator is screwed
  6. well thats not much good then
  7. Wow! Also, don't chuck that heater core out! I may want to buy it off you pending the closeness of it to an r31 one
  8. Quite aggressive Would be OK on a manual one (narrow rear cradle)
  9. Go the 34 brakes on a s2 if you can Someone asked about gtr rears, should be fine but you'll probably need tin snips to trim the backing plate/dust shield
  10. Stao should really get his own dump pipes made up to suit his rear housing without the adaptor
  11. get a tune gt garage should be able to set up a z32 with a nistune for around $1k several i know have said that a good tune is the best upgrade that they have done to their cars (better than highflow/turbo upgrades)
  12. I've just been looking into this myself I'm coming back up to the GC after another year of uni and had a wicked brainwave I thought yeah, i'll get the car transported up and fly so i don't have to put up with the BS long drive well, CEVA are really cheap at the moment but won't let you have anything in the car which is a deal breaker for me so i'll be driving up (car is fully rego'd tho so no issues there) anyway, enjoy my spreadsheet all most prices there are depot to depot (melb to bris) with CEVA being only $500 when i checked the other day Car Freight Quotes.xlsx
  13. I'm not sure how advanced tassie police are but most on the mainland are able to check that your cat is a cat usually just with one of those thermometer guns i think, when the cat is working its hotter than the rest of the exhaust Just go the 100 cell cat and you'll never have to worry if you have to go over an epa thing (only happens in vic by the sounds of it) then you probably wont pass anyway due to how rich rb's run
  14. if you have a s1 then gtr calipers and rotors should bolt up, no dogbones needed (unless you are referring to what brembos somtimes come with) as for braided lines, just anything that is adr compliant will be fine, i think that may only be HEL
  15. indeed i do pm replied to
  16. i'll pay for the postage!
  17. how old is your mac? download and burn an iso of win xp then you should be able to use boot camp utility to add a partition to your current disk and install windows to it
  18. nope sorry, i don't speak any Japanese
  19. and yours is also a genuine autech
  20. checked with zoomzoom's vin last night both part numbers for his s1 were the same as my s2
  21. so would this be overkill for what will probably remain a close to stock stagea? final goal is highflow and max safe power on the stock injectors as possible
  22. i'd imagine that they are the same just messing around with fast now so hopefully i can tell you soon wanna post up your vin and i'll check it for you, then i can compare to the part number for my s2 as well
  23. Don't think so unfortunately
