  1. no deal i believe, stagea plug is different to the s1/s2 r33 one
  2. yeah another vote for edge of the tune there is a thread in the forced induction section about this its the ecu going into R&R around peak torque some form of tune will fix it but its an annoying proposition for a s1 stagea emanange is probably the best to go for
  3. +1 a faulty o2 sensor on my r32 made it run worse than with it disconnected unplug it for a tank and see if it gets better
  4. for pads i can't go past qfm's remsa pads http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/topic/301207-qfm-high-performance-brake-pads-including-comp-9/ i use those in my stagea and had them in my corolla gti (sold) and couldn't fault them decent on dust, great bite, hard to fade will cost you about $90/end but they gsralleysports will do free postage if you buy both ends
  5. yup, then darker wheels 33gtr wheels look so good on 32's
  6. yeah i think gktech said that they are making a braided line that replaces the intermediate hard line so theoretically, they should be similar to stagea ones, im running r34 brakes with stagea lines, so the reverse may well fit i'll try and be the test mule! if your not desperate for them you could stand to save a fair bit of money
  7. auto - r33 rwd manual - r33 gtr best to get stagea ones tho, different valving in the shocks not sure about rwd vs awd stagea shocks tho
  8. glad to hear you got a resolution! $1k is better than nothing but if you've got receipts i'd appeal for more moneys nothing but your effort is going to waste now that you've got your car sorted out
  9. if you can wait a few months, gktech said they are going to be doing them soon adr approved are silly cheap like $130 front and rear or something ridiculous thats the suit r33/r34 btw but we should be able to use them by reusing our banjo bolts
  10. spg in hobart? maybe try japanese import spares in Adelaide, they have a heap of stagea gear and seemed fine to post stuff
  11. housing looks awesome stao! but is it only for the td06's? or something you will roll out across the range?
  12. unigroup are supposed to be really good i believe something is definitely up, i'd go back to unigroup and ask them to look into it was it always this bad?
  13. maybe also post on the facebook page https://www.facebook.com/groups/17462900896/
  14. tune related or leaking injectors maybe get it into a good tuner dunno how much power you are making but im pretty sure e85 users are getting better fuel economy than you are
  15. not sure if mine will be the same as 34 i'd say it would be a33 gtr clutch as thats the same box that the stagea's use
  16. labour will be me and a mate probably currently the car makes around 130awkw but will hopefully get a highflow and tune over summer and make whatever is safe on stock injectors and afm mega catch 22 seeing as its not a ridiculously good deal i might leave it or lowball the guy, i thought $600 was a great price but im glad i asked!
  17. how much for a billet flywheel and where from? or, seeing as its holding fine at my power level, would i be better to put money towards a nistune and tune?
  18. the stagea is the pull type same as 33gtr/34gtt and from what ive seen generally cost over $1k the clamping pressure is also 4400lbs on the JB clutch for sale
  19. Hey Guys A Jim Berry full monty has come up for sale near me pretty cheap ($600) apparently only done 10 circuit laps Im wondering, will the full monty be too much for around 200kw It will be going into my stagea, i'd like something that i can launch pretty hard with as the stagea isn't the best off the line with the stock clutch I know they are supposed to be really goo clutches but will it be too full on for a street driven car with not that much power? Let me know if you think its worth getting or not Cheers, Tom
  20. i thought that poncams were supposed to give better midrange and such
  21. that seems like the wrong procedure not sure if this has been posted yet or not but this is from the gtr workshop manual and works on my s2 rs4s (should be the same box as yours)
  22. so what was wrong with the r34 gtr box? cut and shunt possible?
  23. +1 i'd be interested in seeing that too also, anyone know what its called when you mount the fmic right infront of the rad and move the rad back a bit? i've seen it done on an s13, makes for super short plumbing!
  24. pretty sure the consensus on squaky suspension is the upper control arm to upright bushes i remember someone saying that they drilled and tapped theirs and put grease nipples on them alternatively, hit them with some wd40 and see if it goes away
