  1. What Rice!
  2. Adam, None of that is required. All that is needed is to meet "Apendix A" which basically states that your veichle must "Have a windscreen" and must "Have a transmission". So as long as its a car it will be ok. We'll just be checking that tyres are ok (the back track can be a bit dodgy so this is why were are checking them) and that the car is empty of all loose items.
  3. Any car and anyone is welcome. Already have 2 Fraud XR6T's and a nice 180sx on the entry list plus currently lots more WRX's than Skylines. You slackers better hurry up before there's no spots left! :chairshot
  4. This is going to be fun! Lets sit back and watch the queue of people lining up for the 2nd drive in Jack's car! It's certainly got the goods! Let the bidding begin!
  5. trolling...... trolling..... trolling.... Wait - I think I hooked one!
  6. She could drive ok too. She was about 5s faster than the guy that was the 2nd driver in that car from memory.
  7. Definitely worth the love.
  8. Yep - definitely there seems to be large number of people on here turning gay. There's far too much Ben love. Personally I'm in love with the chick that came 4th at Indy. So close to winning it and DAMN hot. I'd go her over Ben any day! But great result Brett. Your car definitely didn't sound right at Autoslaon. Wonder who in Perth did the tune on it!
  9. Chris - no doubt Brisy and Scott would make a good pairing. But the issue is they don't have a suitable car! There's no way the R32 could last 3 days when it can't get through 95% of normal track days. And whilst the Telstar is a great car it would seriously struggle against most cars other than STi's. So perhaps you should offer to lend them the R33 for the weekend and join Team White. Or better yet - where's Golgo......
  10. Castrol Formula R 10-60W
  11. He's not a traitor - he's just seen the light! Look forwards to seeing it Geoff.
  12. The witches hats being lent to us by the WRX Club are the soft style ones - so IF you do hit one they won't cause any damage. Also DECA is mostly about learning and having fun. Heaps of people will be there just skidding around and enjoying themselves rather than trying to go fast. You dont need any special skills or any special car to enjoy this kind of event. Its just fun.
  13. Do you want to hit another wall Brisby?? Better not rain. Sandown is the one track I dont like in the wet. Calder isn't great - but Sandown is shocking. Its rained last year at the WRX Club event and one of the guys (Vin) put his car on its roof!
  14. Well I just received an email from the WRX Club guys asking me if I knew of a Ben Derks that has entered for Sandown and put down an estimated lap time of 1.18! They didnt believe it so they thought they'd ask me if I knew who he was and what time they could really expect! LOL Anyone who hasn't seen this car run - it's worth coming down to watch just to see it.
  15. Jarrod - not at all. They will just tell you which flags mean what beforehand and give you a colored sheet incase you forget. Its pretty easy however. Last time at Winton I did it in the afternoon and didnt even have to wave a flag. Just joined in the amuzing conversations on the cb radio's and took lots of pictures from the best seats in the house!
  16. Guys, all CAMS licenses can be done on the day. All that is needed to get one is a credit-card number. But we do need the payment for the event before that time. Also - confirmation of entry will only be accepted when I receive the fax or entry in the mail. Posting on here won't be sufficient. And we are already 25% full in only the 1st morning that entries have started to come in.
  17. Forgot to mention - flagging is just for half a day. You can choose either mornings or arvos. All flaggies get lunch for free.
  18. Guys, The WRX Club are still seeking people to help out with Flagging at Sandown for June 12th. Anyone that would be interested in helping out please contact Hung at: [email protected]
  19. Got your entry Blaise. Started to engrave your name on the trophey's already. Speaking of - we will have trophies for best 4wd and best 2wd so you GTS-T guys can compete against each other. It seems so far all the entries received are from WRX Club members so if you SAU guys want to come I wouldn't dally. It will be limmited to the 1st 50 entries.
  20. Some events will be based upon those run in the Dutton Rally. They are heaps of fun.
  21. Rowdy - nope. I can't take money for CAMS - they have nothing to do with us as a club. If you haven't paid yet your best bet is to run to the CAMS head office and they can do it on the spot there and give you the license. Either that or ring them and tell them you need it by June 12 and they will rush it through.
  22. One the day is fine mate. Its usually the easiest way.
  23. Time is hard to say without knowing the driver and experience. I can still do L2S on the day if you need me too.
  24. Go and do some work and stop basking in your own glory!
  25. You two can go serve yourselves a big dose of GAGF! Ben - yeah Chris and Frank will be there. Apparently Franks been cheating (aka - Ben's had it recently for "improvements") so if it's dry I can see a sub 1.20 from him. There's a new R34 floating around that I can see quickly passing me as well unless I pull the finger out. Will have to try and keep him behind me for this event at least.
