  1. Well the rex aint mine and the "bit more" is needed for the upcoming new family addition! But honestly I don't think I have the tackle to drive that car to it's potential anyway. Its been shown to do a 1.15 at Sandown and yet I'm still scaring the crap outta myself trying to catch your 1.23 mate! And thats going fast enough for me without going 8s faster! (BTW - I've got your time in my sights in a couple of weeks! lol) You still got your car anyways mate? We should catch up for a beer or something soon!
  2. Not going to argue with you last statement there mate. If only I had $120K....
  3. I thought it was an 11 as well to be honest though Ben. At least I'm sure that's what he told us and what is on the FA 1/4 leaderboard.
  4. Brandon (user name - beefy on the forums) has a powder coating business. 10% discount to SAU Vic members as well.
  5. Ben still wears womens underwear on his head! If he was a real man he would have shown us his HUGE Wang in the photo-shoot. Biggest Wang in town. Fangartists is a car club full of fun boys, fat controllers, mr mums, vino's, frauds, bean counters and other portugese chicken eating fiends.
  6. Guys, If you have sent your entry in you may want to check the current list. I've sent mine in but noticed my name isn't on there so I've made enquiries. http://www.wrx.com.au/forum/viewtopic.php?...p=284433#284433
  7. You guys all suck. And so does Telstra for not allowing me anything other than 56K.
  8. Here's some interesting points on the Webber starts. My folks were lucky enough to not only be at the Monaco GP last weekend but were there in the BMW Williams Hospitiality Marque. Over the weekend they had Both Mark Webber and Nick Heidfield along to chat with them as well as Sam Michael. During the chat on the Saturday with Mark it was raised that the previous weeks testing had found that the starting issue hadn't been a software issue as initially expected but a clutch issue. Now after the race on Sunday they came back - along with the trophies - and it was revealed that on the formation lap Mark reported in problems with the clutch and so they did some "electronic adjustments" from the pits - but these adjustments only made the problem worse apparently. So hopefully they can get this clutch issue fixed. Also - my mum now has a photo of her holding Mark Webbers trophey. Bitch.
  9. Just over 4s faster and a keg will be all yours then mate!
  10. Yep - Nige is an SAU member. Member #053. You also have Denham and Wayne anyways in RWD mod. So if Nige comes (btw - he has confirmed he is coming yesterday) that makes 4 cars in RWD mod at this stage to the best of my knowledge.
  11. Gareth - good to see you've learnt that driving a GTR quickly isn't as easy as some Hill Billy's like to think. We've seen your not afraid to punt a car hard and you already know Sandown so I'm real keen to see what you can do around there. No need to pull the fuse either as Roy now has more than the required 3 RWD Mod entries to compete against.
  12. Hahahaha!!!
  13. Ok - my car isn't going to be ready. Still no drags for me. One day I'll get there.
  14. I'd suggest somewhere between 1.30 - 1.35 depending on how confident you are feeling. But then I find it's better to be in a faster group than a slower group.
  15. I have it on tape Brisby if you want.
  16. I use Ferodo's - I reckon they are fantastic. I'd be in it but I just ordered some this week for my car. (DS3000's)
  17. Nope - he was 0.1s slower than me. The 1.08 was a 1.08.95 apparently. And the 1.04 never happened. The car had gearbox problems and of coarse as people do (see Brisby) they said "If the car was running I reckon we could have got a 1.04". (Yeah right!) It was an un-backed up boast thats all. The GTR was fastest and the Supra was second - less than 0.1s behind. It is the full track. Last year the best time posted in this comp was a 1.13. I told Nige he should be aiming for a 1.10 before he left.
  18. There's a 4km odd stretch of road that loops back on itself down Phillip Island way that's my fav bit of road. Never any worries about cops there either.
  19. The Supra had a failed alternator - so basically they charged up the battery and he got a warm up lap, a flying lap and a cool down lap and that's it. So to do a 1.09 in one shot given he's never been there before is impressive IMO. Apparently the Autostyle GTR ran a 1.08. Anyone know times from the rest of the weekend? Drag Combat for these cars?
  20. Aaron, I'd say it'd have to be brought in so maybe contact Greenline or Nengun and see if they can help you. Either that or PM Troy (ylwgtr2) on these forums and see if he can help you - he's a man of many talents (and contacts!) especially when it comes to these R34's.
  21. Brisby - the Ice Supra did a 1.25.8 as the best time last time. You sure you don't have your times confused? Either way - I think my keg is safe. Also - Nige did a 1.09 flat at Wakefield on Friday as part of that Autosalon Car of the Year comp. Not bad given he only got 1 attempt due to a faulty alternator and he'd never been there before.
  22. I hear Ben wears womens under pants!
  23. Also - pretty sure I could get the Ice Supra along as well. He finally has the radiator in and the new stickies on so I'm pretty sure he's keen to give it another crack. That will give you your 3 RWD modified mate!
  24. Brisby - if you run a 1.26.xx I'll give you a slab. If you run a 1.25.xx I'll give you a whole keg. I have one sitting in my office all ready. So far Brisby I know the following are in: Snowman Roy Scotsman (if clutch is ready) Ant Jag wwwrxxx ferni
  25. Ok - Blaise is officially joining us in his cheater car. Brisby you need to enter cause right now I'm going to struggle to beat any of these bastards! LOL
