  1. No worries Geoff - glad to be of service. My personal aim is a 1.46. I'm bringing several pairs of jocks cause trying for that time will require a hell of a lot of committment and consequently some possible scary scary moments! This day seem's to be taking forever to come around btw. Hurry up and bring it on already!
  2. Ok - Turbo's are now sold too. Still have EVC, Injectors and GT Wing available.
  3. Mr Twinkle - the injectors are in perfect condition. Can send to Syd no probs. Geoff - NFI sorry mate. Ask someone more technically minded than me. West - sorry for not replying. I've had a lot of PM's about these turbo's and I get confused as to whom I have replied to and whom I havent! BTW - to try and reduce the amount of PM's and also to clear-up something for you West. As far as I am aware - the only major difference between the R32/33 turbo's and the R34 trubo's is that they are BB. So they are NOT steel wheeled. But they do spool up faster.
  4. Pretty close mate. 265/35/18's.
  5. Yeah but the Joss doesn't come standard with a MoTeC ecu and doesn't have a nice STi engine - where parts are readily available. For less than $100K the SVS GT-R seems (on the surface) a pretty impressive package.
  6. Bugger that article - did anyone read the article on the Oz built Saker GT-R?? I want one! http://www.sakercars.com.au/road.htm
  7. Well unfortunately for the Supra it had an overheating issue and after 1 lap the auto-cut kicked in. He also had very 2nd hand tyres and in a test run the front left was flat spotted to the canvas so it had to be called a day after only 1 timed lap (which was a 47) Other cars included another R34 GTR, a number of s13's and s14's, a starlet (I think) and and proton GTi. Also had a comparision to the old style mini's and the new mini. (One of the old mini's had a v-tec engine as well) The other R34 ran a 45 which was the next fastest car. Its a new production crew for the Serious Performace DVD's. They are taking a new direction which seems pretty good from what we were told ablut. At the end of the day I was speaking to them as we discussed a follow-up show involving my car as part of Skylines Australia Victoria as a club feature for Serious Performance 9.
  8. Hey West, Everything sounds good. Fire-extinguisher from K-mart (Fireta or Fire Eta brand) Should be $19.90 and come with a metal braket. Teins - at the island set them to HARD. The track is super smooth so the harder the better there. Otherwise - good stuff.
  9. Ok - I have some times from Calder on the short track. Was invited to participate in a shoot-out that was put together for the up-coming Serious Performance 8 DVD. Was a great day actually as the day involved probably 10 cars all up and 2 V8 drivers - Paul Dumbrell and Warren Luff. Basically through out the day both drivers got 2 laps in everyone's cars and then at the end the owners got 2 laps to compare themselves to the V8 guys. Best times in my car were: Warren Luff: 43.4s Paul Dumbrell: 44.5s Snowman: 45.2s I was pretty happy with my time given I'd never driven the short track before but also impressed with the skill of those V8 drivers that they can get in a car they had never driven before and be right on the money from the get go. And for the record my car won (comfortably) the shoot out! So look out for the feature in the up coming DVD due for release in April.
  10. Hey Rosco - when you read this - Gerald says the timing belt and everything will be done by next week so you have no excuses man! I think the Supra is coming down too, so if Nige can do it so can you!
  11. Haha - Duncan I am so spewing I can't make this. Unfortunately I have to leave the country and spend some time in Monaco in May..... But I sure hope Chris can get up there and teach you boys a lesson!
  12. Well Roy put God + 1 down for a room there mate. And no the + 1 is not Emre. Someone else can have the pleasure this time.
  13. Pics of parts. I also have if anyone is interested the 2 circut boards that are used for the R34 GTR MFD computer display thingy found in the centre console. I recently upgraded to the Nismo version. But I would have NFI what was required to use these in any other car.
  14. Guys - I'm a regular on the wrx forums as well and they usually post something up once things start to get towards filling. So far there's nothing.... but don't leave it until too late. Remember with these things if you are paying by credit card or cheque they don't actually cash the money (usually) until AFTER the event as its easier for everyone if you have to pull out for some reason. So you are always better IMO to get your forms in early and then cancel if you have to rather than wait til the end and miss out. West - FYI - Entrant is the owner of the car. Driver is the 1st driver. If you are both the owner and the drive you still have to fill out both parts. My advise - don't let Troy drive your car. He has a bad track record! LOL.
  15. Yeah it was a great day. Huge kudos to Pete (Base junky) for the effort he put in. Big thumbs up also to Gemma for spending almost the whole day at the entrance taking the money, plus everyone helping out with the bbq. I may sounds like a toss here but I was really proud to be part of SAU yesterday. The fact that almost everyone was wearing their shirts and that basically it was SAU guys doing everything made the club look very professional. Also - great to see that the SAU spirit was alive and well at the end of the day where most of us decided to go to the pub rather than on the cruise. Top work. And also to keep up with tradition I got sunburnt again.
  16. I'm going to go. Was going to head in there on Sat. Anyone interested in meeting up and heading in togather?
  17. Snowman

    Golgo

Yep - the car is still for sale.
  18. Useless man. http://www.grapegrazing.com.au/
  19. Its was born to race! Look at those smooth racing lines!
  20. There is nothing special about the R34 getrag 6. Infact its my one pet hate with the car. Stupid getrags.
  21. Good pics Adz! There are some more to be found here - mostly of rexies but give a good impression of what it was like after dark. http://bankboy.homeip.net/bankboy/calder_g...-2-05/index.htm Here's a couple of samples from there. hehe!
  22. Well my form went in today. I love this track.
  23. Anyone else going to the Grapegrazing festival on Feb 20th? I'll be at the following places: Elmswood, Yering Station and of course finishing at Rochford's Eyton.
  24. The Village Green facilities are first class! The WRX Club hold their meeting there with out any issues. The only problem is they want us to pay to use the conference rooms which with the size of our club and the resourses available is not a posiibility.
  25. I'm there. If people are keen for the whole weekend then I might even see if the wife wants to tag along too.
