  1. You will find the HKS, Nismo etc spark plugs are just normal NGK platinum or iridiums, just pre-gapped to .8mm and colder heatrange (which is what the iritop, iriway etc plugs are, except theyre standard 1.0-1.1mm gapped)
  2. Check forum sponsors for a new clutch to suit, looking at $300 at a guess, add another $150-200 roughly in labour to have it put in, again a guess. Headlights just email as many wreckers in your state (within a reasonable drive) that you can
  3. Probably want to run 38psi on the day, maybe rock up with 42psi and just let air out when you need traction.
  4. It's possible there is air trapped in the head, did you use the air bleeders (one is near the pressure regulator) when you refilled the coolant?
  5. what your describing sounds like you need to replace brake master cylinder seal, grab the R32 GTR service PDF off the net it will show you step by step how to do it.. master cylinder seals usually don't go on their own, usually means you've got air or dirt in your brake lines, or you've mixed 2 fluids together which werent compatible when topping it up in the past
  6. 10-11 psi is standard boost on a R32 GTR, 14.7 psi if the restrictor has been taken out. On the factory boost gauge, +7 mmHg equals 13.5psi
  7. Try putting the old steering wheel back some A/M steering wheels will mess with the HICAS thingy in the steering column
  8. Ah damn I'm getting all my GTRs fluids changed this weekend, perfect GTR weather though imo, nice and cool for the engine and a chance to dust the cobwebs off the ATTESSA system.
  9. Price wise with slotted discs, DBA (something like $480 for fronts to suit my car) are close to twice as much as the RDA equivelent ($270 for fronts to suit my car). It's really up to you if you want to pay nearly twice as much for virtually the same product. $500 (for my car) is in Endless (slotted) front rotor territory imported from Japan.. so if you were willing to pay that much I would choose Endless over DBA.
  10. My mechanic gets really good prices from the Nissan dealership he used to work at, I'm not sure how how many litres he got all I know he priced it for me as $50, all I know it's enough to cover the ATTESSA (0.5l if duncan is right) and transfer case (1.5l), so I guess 2-3litres. edit: plus he owns a R32 GTR as well so probably brought for his supply as well.
  11. yep im with everyone else, let me know when its time to place the order
  12. If you have the harness, simplest answer is just to get another the same brand from the wreckers.
  13. My mechanic (GTR specialist) is quite happy to do (bit reluctant) the gearbox and both diff fluids I've mentioned, but insists will only put in the genuine Nissan Matic-D ATF in the transfer case (I won't argue with him, he worked at a Nissan dealer for 7 years so I will go with what he says). Did alittle research into it and it seems most jap tuners say to only use the genuine Nissan Matic-D in the transfer cases. Then again it's suggested Matic-D is nothing more than Castrol ATF/Mercon IV. I think this is a interesting read (copy and paste from elsewhere, Matic-D and the special powersteering fluid mentioned are the same part-number)
  14. Check local wreckers for a harness to suit (aka HKS harness for HKS timer), with harness you don't need to do any splicing or soldering, just unplug the factory ignition, and plug the harness into where you unplugged.
  15. Will R33/R34 GTR brembo setup fit under stock R32 GTR rims (16"), or will I have to run 17" rims to be able to use them?
  16. R32 GTR Cam/Crank angle sensor (CAS), PM please.
  17. Try greenline.jp , even cheaper try jessestreeter.com
  18. Did you solder the Z32 wiring plug yourself or do something dodgy like only twist the wires together? The non-standard idling could be the AAC needs cleaning
  19. CAS (crank/cam angle sensor) is that big silver/white thing attached to the front of your timing cover, on the bottom left there's the CAS plug. I would use this as an excuse to replace the fuel pumps and maybe the fuel filter as well if you've done all of paulr33's steps, come back if this still happens.. It's not misfiring or knocking is it?
  20. R32 GTR Crank Angle Sensor (CAS) PM please
  21. http://paulr33.skylinesaustralia.com/diagr...33-fusebox.html It's possible the switch itself is faulty, I know it's a R32 problem so I dunno if it affects R33s also
  22. I wouldn't imagine many people are running 2 way diffs on their street cars, they're not very nice with daily driving.
  23. Only option with stock ECU is stock R32 GTR AFMs, you can't run non-standard AFMs on your stock ECU (but Nistune would allow you to), as the stock ECU expects the voltage output of the stock R32 AFMs. Brand new Nismo GTR AFMs are actually cheaper (about $450 each: http://www.rhdjapan.com/jdm-low/NISMO-Air-...T-AFM-MAF-18459 ), than Brand new Genuine GTR AFMs are (about $530 each: http://www.rhdjapan.com/jdm-low/Nissan-OEM...line-GT-R-58012 ). The money you save by going with 2x Z32 AFMs (approx $250-300 each), you'll have money left over for Nistune Other option if you had Nistune is the 80mm green sticker AFMs from GTS-T's (from R33s iirc), I'm sure there's other options too
