  1. If by service you mean a oil change, filter, plugs, radiator flush, you should do it yourself. Saves a lot of money so you can buy the best parts. Hell, you could do gearbox and the diff oils as well and still be way infront. Mark
  2. 2:39 was my best, I'm shi t, LOL.
  3. R32/33 GTR seats are no good when using a harness as there is no room for your neck if you have a prang. My old R34 GTR seats on the other hand are the super awsomeness for a daily which sees the track. But for a $600 limit you might be best just getting a drivers seat. Mark
  4. legally registered streetable cars, Im not to sure on how legally registered some of these cars are going to be, dont get me wrong, I like mods for speed and handling, BUT, saying legaly regoed means the car has a legit engineering cert, there is nothing I hate more than someone saying the car is legaly registered with things like ATMO BOV or dumped on its guts, or-or-or, the list goes on. On another note, how about sending some free stuff our way so that we can give out some of your awsome products out at one of our events, or send out a rep to one with shiny things to give away, Ill even take them for a drive in a legalish x 11ty registered streetable car (and do a skid), just have a look in this here events section of SAU NSW. My missus always gets me MEGUIARS products for my B/Day and Xmas Mark
  5. Im in Wattle Grove, near the pub, of course.
  6. I have enough trouble trying to not go sideways, LOL again.
  7. And I don't even like drift, LOL.
  8. I'm near Liverpool. PM me.
  9. I'm hoping for improvement on 1:58 if all goes well, I'm pretty sure the only thing holding the car back now is the driver and his ability of not keeping his right foot planted on the go pedal.
  10. carmate.com
  11. You get the sticker for free when you join SAU NSW, a Povo "I'm not a member but wish I was" sticker is full of good old fashion fail. Click on the membership link below and join the club and keep that smell of fail out of your car.
  12. LOL, THE SKY IS FALLING, the radiation at Lucas Heights is the last thing you need to worry about, your phone does more damage, also where do you think the medical radio active stuff is made, cancer treatment, X Ray stuff. End rant. Newcastle would be good for a full sized track but Lucas Heights would be perfect for a driver training come skid pan area, I think it would get a huge amount of people who don't want to drive for hours (Marulan) or wait for a event at E/C. Also I don't know what area they want to use but there is some good areas around there that you could make a nice hill climb section, bring it on I say, I'll go.
  13. Yavus is coming along to keep a eye on it, fingers crossed its sorted.
  14. AROCA, HSV, SSCC & WRX Clubs are holding a Sprint at Eastern Creek on the 16th April, anyone else going. Mark.
  15. Sounds like a day of awsomeness, might have to ride down though as the car is incarmunicardo at this stage.
  16. Epic launch, looked like the door was closing until you stuck your Nissan in it.
  17. Dunlop semis. Well for the 3 laps I did anyway. Street legal ones.
  18. Any box that fits in and can be secured will do, look around some wreckers for a box and pipes, might have to cut some pipes to fit but meh. Pods are ghey as the suck hot air, find the best flowing stock box with CAI from something that fits and you'll be better off. There are some good web sites with info on this subject. Google man Google.
  19. You talking to me. LOL
  20. QFM A1RM 100% better than stock and won't send you broke.
  21. Do I get a prize for only doing 3 laps and spinning on 2 of them.
  22. Well my car is all cleaned up with a new P/S belt on, it will be getting a serious WTF inspection ASAP, I was all keens on a better time than my last one, oh well next time things should be sorted and the times will drop, as long as I get more than 3 or 4 laps that is, my only laps that I didnt spin out on was the warm up and the the second hot one which was a 1.14. Sorry for leaving straight away but I had the poos and needed to be alone for a while(redrum redrum), I did see some very nice cars though and by the look of the times throughout the day they came down rather well. See you all next time and good luck.
  23. 1 1/2 ltrs of oils in the can 2 1/2 ltrs in-on-around-under the car with god knows how much I dropped on the track. First lap was slow as they left the red light on most the way then when it was turned off I gassed it to the last turn braked then mashed it down the straight, slow into 1-exit 2 and headed up to 3 with the arse slipping around which I put down to cold tyres, went around again with the arse playing silly buggers then at the exit of 2 heading to 3 it tanked slapped me around a bit and I went off, I got back on allright but it done it again in the exact same spot AND I lost powersteering so I came into the pits to see WTF was up. Popped bonnet and the cold side was covered with oil and both the powersteering and aircon belts were off, on further inspection the aircon belt was torn to peices and wrapped around the fan with little bits everywhere while the P/S one had its arse handed to it but not as bad(had alot of the cord ripped out). Oil came from the catch can which is where I got the 1 1/2 ltrs (volume of the can) from. Filled up the car with 4ltrs of oil (sump holds about 7), moved the bits of eaten belts and came home. All in the first 3 laps......................................................... Mark
