  1. thats not too bad i guess. i might just bight the bullet and go genuine nissan.
  2. i'd buy another seatbelt mate. My old seatbelts wouldn't retract at all and got fed up with them. I recently replaced the driver and passenger seatbelt with brand new aftermarket seatbelts as genuine nissan would be fairly pricey. The brand I got are 'hemco' and got them through seatsafe.com.au. I'd highly recommend them as replacements. From memory they cost around $130 each and you can use your existing buckles.
  3. factory driver sideskirt available? willing to post to brisbane?
  4. Hey guys. having a bit of trouble finding replacement washer pumps (front and rear) for an r33. Can someone point me in the right direction as to where I can source these. I'd rather not go to nissan as they'll probably cost a small fortune. I went to repco and they were unable to help out. The catalogue they had only supported the r30 and r31. what other nissans does the r33 share pumps with? Thanks
  5. hey mate yea the back seat needs to fully come out. I've done this many a time now. once the seat is out you should be able to see the seatbelt retractor unit.
  6. mate if you want one brand new you can purchase the blades from rhdjapan.com for $100. I just purchased one the other day for my r33 as my old one had cracks all through it. Better than paying around $300 from nissan lol Postage was around $90 as it's from japan so try getting a few items if you can to make it worth your while
  7. i have a 42mm and theres heaps of room for the clutch fan and the original shroud to bolt on.
  8. thanks mate. will give this a go tomorrow and let you know how I go
  9. hey guys. I ended up replacing a few of the rubber fuel lines located in the boot yesterday. In order to do this I had to remove my amp which I've had for about a year now and had no problems with until yesterday. I made sure I put it all back together correctly but now when i turn the ignition one click over ( head unit and clock both turn on) the cigarrete lighter fuse blows every time (15 amp) and the amp doesnt switch on. I've tried disconnecting the amp and just turning on the ignition without having it hooked up but the cigarette fuse is still blowing. have I maybe pinched a wire in the boot or something that is related to the cigarette lighter. This is driving me crazy! you fix one thing and another problem surfaces lol maybe someone knows the wiring layout for an r33 gtst?
  10. i'm after a r33 gtst driver side skirt in factory black if possible. genuine nissan not a fiberglass copy. must be good condition, no dings. thanks

  12. I've also posted this topic in the cosmetic and styling section a few days ago but thought i'd have more success here. Just wondering what this part is? I found it sitting in my 33 center console when I purchased the car almost 2 years ago and have finally bothered to take a picture of it as I really want to know what it is lol

  16. sounds like a coilpack mate. i'd have them checked out.
  17. unsure of the brand of these led tail lights but I purchased them from a wreckers for $200. personally i love the look of them but i know a lot of people would disagree with me and say to stick with the originals. comes down to personal preference and what you like the look of.
  18. lol awesome so i'm only mildly homo
  19. success! lol thanx for that ducati. what I had to do was loosen off the nut and short bolt and tighten the long bolt resulting in the bushes rotating and pushing the arm up. now to get a wheel alignment
  20. hey guys have a bit of a problem at the moment. I just replaced all the bushes in the front end of the car. I removed the upper control arm, the arm that joins the upper and lower control arm and the lower control arm and took them to the mechanics to get the new bushes pressed in. I also replaced both tie rod ends as well. I've now got super-pro adjustable upper control arm bushes(outer). Anyway after fitting everything back together and putting the wheels back on, the upper controls arms are now touching the tyres as you can see in the picture where as they weren't doing this before. Is this to do with adjusting the camber? or have I done something else wrong? Any help would be great as I can't even drive it to get a wheel alignment. Thanks!
  21. yea yea not a pill press lol all good now anyway. i bought a bigger hammer and came out second hit but I couldnt get the new one back in so i've dropped it off at a mechanics. They can deal with it lol
  22. this looks awesome! can't wait to see the finished product. keep up the great work
  23. hey guys, currently replacing all the bushes and lower ball joints in the front end of the car. I've done all the bushes but can't for the life of me remove the ball joint on the lower control arm. I would love to get it done tomorrow but no mechanics are open and i'm flat out at work for the next few weeks so I won't have any time to do this. I can remove the lca and travel to you if required.Any help would be much appreciated thanks
