  1. hey mate, i have an r33 coupe and ended up getting a r33 4 door rear garnish as they have the silver 'skyline' letters on them whereas the coupe garnish is colour coded. I'm pretty sure this applies to the r34's as well. all i did was pop off the letters and stick them directly over the top of the letters as I prefer the look of the chrome letters. I just had a quick look on ebay and looks as though you would need to purchase the entire bootlid to get the letters which could be a bit costly so maybe you could try spraying or sticking chrome overlay on the letters. just an idea
  2. i have rda's on my r33 gtst and think they're fantastic! I use my car for street so not too sure how they'd hold up on the track but I have heard good things.
  3. my daily is a daewoo 1.5i. currently has around 312,000kms still with the original engine and gearbox (mainly highway km's from what I'm told). had it for the past 4 years and still going strong lol. the interior on the other hand hasn't held up as well.

  7. for anyone else interested in replacing the dryer it was $48 from ashdown ingram. they didn't have an exact listing for an r33 but the guy managed to find one almost identical (apart from the little glass window on the top of the dryer). it was to suit an n14 pulsar 1994-95. better than $280 from nissan lol fits perfectly too!
  8. im in ipswich. i'll send u a pm buddy
  9. haha cheers when i start working and have money i'll be coming to pay u a visit. way too many thefts at the moment.
  10. if you lived a bit closer i'd offer to help. i've removed it before to change all the coolant lines. you'll definitly need a couple of extension bars or one long one to get the bolts underneath. my suggestion is to feel around for exactly where the bolts are or even get underneath the car with a torch.
  11. very lucky man! i've been putting off getting an alarm for far too long as well. although mines garaged with a wheel lock and wheel clamp every night
  12. thanks for that guys! just pm'd you brad
  13. selling a genuine r33 gtst series 1 radiator off a manual for $20. The radiator was removed as I upgraded to a bigger radiator. No cracks or leaks what so ever and I've never had any overheating issues with it. It could do with a bit of a clean though. The fins are all in fairly good condition considering the age of it. According to my speedo its done 128,800kms. no radiator cap included though. Also selling a genuine r33 series one spoiler in black in very good condition with the brake light included. A couple of small touch up chips but nothing major also selling for $20. And lastly a rear garnish off an r33 series 2 coupe, white in colour, $20. Pickup only on these items. Located in ipswich.
  14. Hey guys, as the title states I'm after an aftermarket receiver dryer to suit an r33 gtst. I went to nissan and was quoted something ridiculous for a genuine one (around $280 from what I remember). If someone could point me in the right direction that would be awesome. thanks!
  15. spotted a silver r35 gtr cruising through richlands at around 6pm tonite. first time i've actually seen one on the roads lol
  16. just purchased a 42mm fenix radiator off ebay and couldn't be happier with the quality. The fitment was perfect and the fan shroud bolted straight back up with no dramas.
  17. There's 32 settings in total with 1 being the softest and 32 the stiffest. I'm on setting 12 which is roughly half way and feels just right for me.
  18. the brake shims solved my problem! I had sqeeling rear brakes as I changed to rda slotted rotors and qfm hpx pads. They would only squeel when I got a fair bit of heat into them. I also chamfered the edges so that probably helped a bit too. but definitly go the project mu shims. not too pricey either.
  19. don't listen to d!#kheads like that ever again! and read up on these forums and ask questions. thats how i've learnt the in's and outs of my car.
  20. hey man it shouldn't be a problem! but if your like me and really picky you'll want a genuine nissan one. I got one just recently for around $40 and couldn't believe how soft it was compared to the old hose.
