  1. After moving back to Melbourne from the country only 3 months ago i woke up during the night to hear my R33 being driven away. I had just given the car a once over and fitted a new O2 sensor at 8:00pm last night and fired it up for the first time in a month (been away with work). I bought the car off here 7 years ago and spent a bit of time getting it to how I liked it but in reality it has been a super reliable daily driver with not having to spend a cent on anything. There isn't too many good parts on it to strip as most of it is stock besides the turbo, return flow cooler and rims. Where do parts like this get advertised? For all you guys that spend a lot of time and $$$ on your cars, do what i was GOING to do and fit a GPS tracker. They are very cheap now and I feel stupid for not having one hooked up.
  2. V8 Audi sounds good. So did you sort out the turbo b4 you sold it or did the person who bought it not care?
  3. Apparently some1 got ass raped and didn't read this thread and paid $16k for it!!!!!!!!!!!
  4. I went to take the Skyline (R33 S2) for a spin. I put the key in the lock and nothing! I couldn't get it unlocked. I went over to the passenger side and the same thing. I tried the boot and it opened no problems. Have my locks been sabotaged or is my central locking (no remote) playing funny buggers??? What are my options? Any help would be appreciated. Jimmy Update. I just disconnected the battery to see if the locks were some how being held shut but no difference.
  5. You can't rubbish Hypergear until you have swapped the turbo out to see what happens or taken it to a respectable lace to have it sorted and tuned. Until then suck it up
  6. ITEM: 1994 KX250 PRICE AND PRICE CONDITIONS: $1999 ONO Make an offer CONDITION: Very good REASON FOR SELLING: Never ridden and just taking up space EXTRA INFO: Up for sale is my 1994 KX250 which i have owned for the last 10 years but have ridden only a handful of times. The list of items below have under 10 hours on them. -Pro Circuit power pipe -DID X-ring chain -Sprokets -Wheel bearings -Boyesen reeds -Swing arm bearings -Water pump -Brake pads -Clutch basket (20 hours) -Seat cover And probably a few more that i can't remember. The bike starts very easy and runs extremely well and has great compression. The rear tire needs replacing and a new one will come with the bike. Forks seals need replacing and the kick start dog clutch/spring needs a shim. (Both cheap and easy to do yourself) Selling as the bike is just taking up space and would prefer someone riding it. LOCATION: Point Cook CONTACT: PM through here PICTURES:
  7. If someone sees it advertised for $9k and then back up at $14k they will not pay the $14k. Maybe delete this and the other posts
  8. Would have left a lot more money in your pocket now that you want to get rid of it.
  9. Hmmmm maybe you should have bought a second hand engine like everyone said last year. BTW i got 515km out of my 33 without the light coming on Best i have done so far. Did a few off the clock runs as well (private property of course)
  10. R33 are so cheap!! Buy some1 else's money pit! Pity about being grouped with the average R33 owner though
  11. Remember he does have 4wd so his results will differ.
  12. How much do you want? How many km has it done? If there is little shaft play then i will give you $100
  13. Just fees the power on a bit slower and it will hold.
  14. I found the same with my tires. I even tried dropping them to low 20's. I leave them around 35psi now. Lowering the pressure might work a lot better with tyres with a taller sidewall that can flex a bit. I do understand that lowering pressures also gives a bigger print longways.
  15. That is where i think you will notice the biggest improvement. I went from around 220 to 255 and 0-100 really didn't change much (loss of traction in 2nd), 3rd was nice but shit 4th just pulled so hard and great watching the tacho and speedo moving together
  16. Normally mine has less traction on cold mornings like today (cool weather, slightly wet road from dew or fog). Your tires probably had 3psi less in them so wouldn't think that was enough to affect it. Maybe just a nice piece of road.
  17. Biggest LOL ever. Are you doing your bit for the environment by running E85 in a not so economical sports car.
  18. Well if he is looking after your car then it doesn't matter
  19. Nice result. What rpm is it making full boost? Very similar curve to my 3040 But mine dips hard at around 5500rpm and 240rwkw.
  20. I thought it looked less than 240 as well BUT only because mine breaks traction a little in second. That looks like it puts the power down really well and 240-250 seems right.
  21. The Point Cook United servo is now selling it. I checked the price today and it was $1.43/L and 95 E10 was only 5c more!! How the hell can they justify this??? 1 year ago i was paying $1.00/L in Hoppers Crossing. What are you guys getting per tank? I think i was getting under 300km, so i have switched back to 98 and getting 450ish.
