inside i sort of want the turbo to blow..... coz then i'll have a decent excuse for an upgrade lol
-
yeah i could imagine it would be a shithouse job to do...... as far as i know those bolts are the ones that snap like glass when you try and undo them after 12 years of heat abuse..... I snapped one when i tried to change the front pipe.... got stuck in the turbo side..... couldn't get it myself. paid a guy to do it and he went through $80 worth of drill bits to get the bugger out.... If its just a leak (very slight at the moment) i might leave it and come on sunday now ...... just gotya see how work is going to be and then i'll pay
-
I hear you, sounds asif my turbo is on the way out.... so i'm holding off paying for aslong as possible to see if its just my imagination or if the turbo really is about to go BOOM!!!!! that and work, but i can always skip work

My Turbo Sounds Like A Rubber Duck When Boosting
Kujotk replied to shaunzo101's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
i'm interested in this aswell. lately while driving at the dead of night i notice the turbo making a soft squeaking sound under fairly generous boost.... ive been running 10psi on standard turbo for a year and i'm wondering if it means turbo is giving me warning to get a repacement ready -
our oktober fests are crap, lets rally SAU treasury to help us all get to Oktober fest this year, still got a few more weeks to go. Germany is a bloody awesome place without Oktober fest, imagine it in munich right now

I don't think a cop can Drive anyones car away, only to take it out of the way from a dangerous situation (aslong as it isn't dangerous to move it), for the safety of everyone around, I thought oh&s doesn't allow them to dive cars at work that arn't their own personal cars or work cars. Especially if they think the car is going to be defectable. It is usually a tow trucks responsibility or the car stays. Ive never heard of a copper driving someone elses car, even with the owners permission they try not to. Well not these days, forget about the old days, they could do anything back then lol
-
yup, it doesn't have to be printed, but they have to show you the readout from the radar screen, as its been said a million times above, don't admit to anything, if they have the proof, then they have it, allot of the times the cops may radio in the speed or even show an onboard camera the speed that comes up from radar panel. If you agree they will always pin you, if you dont agree, they may have no other proof and drop the whole thing if the cop thinks he hasn't followed proceedure or may have forgotten to do something. Other than that a judge will nearly ALWAYS take the word of an officer than a skyline driver lol. Best thing is dont speed and always deny, if he has the proof he will book you

Anyone From Parramatta ? Good Place To Live ?
Kujotk replied to Wacky Dee's topic in New South Wales
some punk stole my shiny tyre nozzle cap in bevo, bloody idiots lol. If your concerned about safety in terms of your car, no where is safe. Rich/poor/secured/seems safe/or reptation for being an unsafe area, if someone sees your car on the side of the road, and they want it, they will take it, no matter where it is. in terms for personal saftey, i used to live in harris park a good 15 years ago, my PO box is still in harris park, I don't feel very safe there after knowing of what goes on there now days. Even back then it wasn't the best area around, but it has definately gone way down hill since then. There have been people killed over laptops at the station, brawls all the time, buglaries and riots. But this is near the station and the shopping strip and what not. If you go between harris park and rosehill race course it is much much quieter and more civilised. If you had to move near parra area i'd move there in the quiet streets, away from the station (if its saftey your worried about). If you can't afford anything away from the station then you have no choice then. At the end of the day issues can arise in any area you live.... try to be aware of them. Don't forget, trains are the prefered transport of all the shit in sydney, apart from people going to work, loss of lisence, school/ uni kids and pensioners, who else do you have left on the trains??? Drug users, alcoholics, people who think its easier to steal than to work.... Go on parra line between 10am-1pm and you see what people use trains, at that time its mostly pensioners and the scums of the earth, poor pensioners cop it at that time of the day. I personaly wouldn't live too close to any train station except for the city stations, and im not saying city stations are better, just saying you have no choice in the city, there stations not far away from anywhere there. -
Export R34 To India !
Kujotk replied to Zaver's topic in Importing, Compliance, Modification Laws & Regulations
yeah, just pay someone off lol. Sounds like your family might be able to find the rigght person to pay off, or atleast have the money to do so lol. lol terry, whats with the heat comment, r34's come with standard AC and Australia is pretty hot even on a world scale of things lol. I'd only be worried about finding decent fuel to run the car lol. seriously though, Zaver you have to do the research yourself, It doesnt look asif anyone has exported a car from Australia to India. On our side, it is easy to send the car over, basically ring rta (vic roads) and they will tell you what to do on our end. Then find a customs shipping broker that deals with india and ask them. They'll set you up with a 20 foot shipping container, insurance for shipping, they may even know the appropriate duty that needs to be paid.... once the car is in the country i'm sure it cant be that hard to get it registered there, ive never been to india but from my limmit4d knowledge about indian cars, i dont think their registration rules are very strict at all lol. good luck -

Rb25 Turbo Upgrade, All Dyno Results
Kujotk replied to Nacho Vidal's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
very old dyno test. october 2008. 96 s2 33 stock turbo stock ecu stock internals Stock boost 3.5 inch cat back pod standard intercooler hot day +35degrees 212hp/ 158.1rwkw one of the best standard dynos ive seen -
theres allot of power to be made from the standard turbo still.... on standard psi i was at 166ish rwkw, only getting it to 10 psi i was up at 200ish rwkw, think it was 196.6rwkw or something like that. Yes it reduces the life of the turbo, but its been a year and no change in turbo sound or performance since it was boosted... so if your wanting to change the turbo anytime in the future, who cares if you wreck the standard one in the mean time.... just make sure you have enough money for the new turbo and/ or a tow truck lol. i'll throw in a new stronger turbo once this one dies (if it dies)..... or high flow it, depending on what power i'm expected to gain from a high flow

There are old posts about this topic with pics, but the pics dont exist anymore, just the text remains. Anyway i think ive located the sump (ive never been able to look properly under my car as its too low, but now i can. It is a tinny metal box thing right at the bottom of the engine bay, some old posts said there was meant to be plastic sheet covering it from the elements from the underneath, i dont have that. The thing i think is the sump has a bolt right near the bottom of the sump, but it is off to the drivers side of the sump alittle bit, it is an r33 gtst with rb25 in it, does that sound like sump plug? oh its about 14mm bolt aswell cheers

sounds like some more joy riders needing a lift back out west, now i'm getting worried of a break in, 2 in 3 weeks of sau members
-
hahaha nice, now get back to honey moon shenanigans
-
i got no turbo background... i just drive them lol. but from what ive picked up in the past is when the car is just about to boost (middle line of the standard boost guage on the dash board), it is at atmosphere pressure eg, 0 PSI. but i'm talking out of my ass lol, just what ive heard. but i know when i had standard boost it would get up to 7psi, now i put boost tee in im up to 10psi, maybe 11 with spike. I know if you dont accelerate hard you can kkep it at low boost, but i dont understand what you mean by setting it at 3psi? just dont accelerate hard. A few times ive gone a couple of weeks without letting the turbo reah atmosphere pressure, (0 psi), why dont you just do that?

hahahahahahhahahaha love it, made my day

does it matter? its a drift car? Besides there are more pink drift cars than any other colour, so i dont find it gay looking. Its ugly yes, but most drift cars are quite ugly. Doesn't mean its not an awesome car and it does its job better than most others... *edit* actually looking back at it i dont think its ugly, the blue paint doesnt suit the carbon fibre

Canadians???? Victoria is the bloody cold state, their the Canadians lol
