  1. i agree, your prob must be water on the inside of the lense, i have alittle bit on the inside of one and plastX makes it better but not 100%... for the other headlight that doesnt have any leaks (yet), platX makes it look brand new
  2. i heard first time is 1 month, then 3 months, 6 months and confiscate..... dont quote me its just word of mouth, and i dont need to know coz im not stupid enough to street race so i wouldnt care if its a 100 years jail sentence....
  3. Is this new news??? always a risk eating food someone else has prepared.... Good to see my regular restraunts arn't on the list, (in the last 12 months)
  4. Got federal 595's at the front 235/45/17, and shitty Antyre 245/45/17 on the rear.... had a flat last week (leaky valve) so got it replaced, they went over all the tyres last friday, i recon they did it well..... well today i noticed the tyres looked alittle low. Its raining today so the tyre temps are pretty much room temp, either way i found all tyres were at 26psi, this isn't right is it? anyway i put the front to 33 and rears to 32psi (cold), Ive done a search and some people put their tyres up to 45, usually between 32-38 psi. What should the tyres be at during warm and cold readings????
  5. lol what knob jockeys.... why would you race in the streets in one of Australias most heavily policed shires, 2nd of all it sounds like they were both non turbos since they surposedly reached 145 in an 80 zone.... -10km/h from dodgey radar and take off another 20km/h by the time the press writes the story. So they were probably street racing at a grand total speed of 115ish and 105ishkm/h (Disclaimer: most of what i wrote is made up)
  6. spotted this gtst 4 door go past castle towers and castle hill road... 4pm this arvo, chick driving
  7. Long story short i have a strange creaking sound when the car is cold and i turn to the right quite heavily,,,, when the car has gone a couple of kms the sound goes away..... but when i drive slowly over speed humps or other sudden changes in road height like drive ways the creaking sound come back for a second or two depending on how fast i go over the bump... sound has come up in the last 2 months, background info is the same wheel assembly had some damage 6-9 months ago and i had the rear control arm replaced with an S15 arm (same part with extra reinforcement from stock r33 gtst part). Guy who repaired it says only the arm was damged, there wa no other damge to anything else..... With this in mind what would make this creaking sound, its similar to creaking floor boards.... but not the same anyone got any ideas????
  8. you better use the car, uve spent heaps on it so you might aswell use it.....

only exception are those stupidly overpriced (but i still recon there nice) classic muscle cars like the cobras, gt fords from way back and sl5000 toranas and the really old luxury cars from the 20's.... cars in almost every other situation are an obvious loss...
  10. looks like this is going to be a fail meet seeing as people seem to have lost interest..... i'm still in unless everyone pulls out.... it'll probably get more action a couple of days before the cruise....
  11. spotted a silver r33 with chromes and tinted windows driving up highs road on tuesday arvo at bout 3.30pm, i flashed you couple times and you looked stunned....
  12. so who is comming on this cruise???? and $20 albert comes hung over and doesn't come with us
  13. sold a van to some brisbane folk, met them at krispy kream mascot car park and did it there and then, just do the usual asif you were selling it to a nsw guy and its up to them to change rego and all that hassel.... also it makes you immune to speeding fines (that i got in the mail a month later) from when they drive it home....
  14. spotted a silver series 2 R33 gtst on oaks road (always bloody see lines there) this arvo at 12.30pm, he gave me a wave but i was too slow to react coz i was playing with my stereo lol.... car looks nice and clea aswell *waves @ driver online*... also white r33 with strange body kit followed me on windsor road at bout 1.40-2 ish north bound, he turned onto m2....
  15. car looks great by the way
  16. been written about a billion times before..... Spark plugs, throttle body clean, afm clean and most importantly change your 02 sensor,,,, i didnt wanna spend $220 on a genuwine nissan 02 sensor so i just got a $60 EL falcon one from repco... i get 500km/tank now.... before was only only 300
  17. oh i just realised that it looks like the final destination is Berrowra waters...... you don't mean the last route we took through berrowra waters and ended at thornleigh maccas do you???? if it ends berrowra waters we should have a bbq or something.... ALSO I WANT TO SEE AN R35 COME TO THE CRUISE!!!!!
  18. do what most of us with gtst's do and try and let your car warm up for atleast 5 minutes before you take off, and take it easy for atleast another few minutes untill the engine has warmed up and subsequently the gear box oil chould start lubing everything after a few minutes of driving.... my prob is when the car is cold i can never put the car back into 1st without holding the clutch down for a good couple of seconds after i leave my street.... so now i roll it down the 100 meters of down hill in first, get to a t intersection, turn right out of my street, keep it in first for the 30 meters untill the main road, then i dont have the 2nd - 1st gear change prob..... after my car gets through to 3rd i guess its all lubed up and the tight gear chenges go away... your situation would be differnt depending on time and location but really a turbo car should have time to warm up, take it easy at first, then thrash it, then give it time to cool down lol
  19. pennant hills road last thursday night, a 4wd towing a boat and a trailer.... popped the whole wheel off and it missed m car by meters....
  20. black 33 series 2 this arvo 3.30 @ oaks road west penno...
  21. i would but hills cruise wins hands down...
  22. Metal polish????? should use plastX instead then lol....
  23. i recon it would be faster if it was all riced out, lol. Trust, exedy, apexi, tomie, nismo, stickers for starters would give it 100 extra killerwasps and shave a full second off that time.... then an ugly gt style wing, neons and 24 inch chromes..... lol might aswell throw in some flame stickers going down the side off it and have those annoying hello kitty things and other toys stuck to the dashboard and mirrors lol
  24. only one i know is the united servo on victoria road balmain (sydney).... it is about 90c-$1/L....
