  1. Have they fixed this pressure sensor problem in the later model R35's?
  2. I'll sleep better at night knowing you can remove a gearbox. Sorry to offend your boyfriend. Also mate it's surprised not 'suprised'
  3. http://www.sportscar...ire_sydney.html I believe we were just talking about this on another thread. Try and keep up lol. Lol 'Context' Too late to back track on that one buddy. PN-Mad I'm also curious to know how driving a car around a track and the fact that it has it's own tool chest makes for a better machanic? Certainly didn't make much of a differnce in this case did it? Maybe that covers the service costs. How much did you say Nissan would charge you Wardy for this work if the car was out of warranty lol. A lazy 12k! Hmmm now if I had an R35 that was out of warranty and needed this work done, where would I take it? Farrk! You're joking right!
  4. 'Yerp, you're probably right.....' I'm good friends with my Nissan service manager. They are very professional. Lol Wardy you're a classic! Why did you agree with me then? You say one thing then say another. Are you an Arthur or a Martha? You remind of a nerd I went to school with, just agrees with everybody to try and get some mates lol Oh and by the way I have driven an R35 and I deal with Nissan all the time with issues on other vehicles.
  5. Doesn't sound good, I think you might need your cheque book handy.
  6. What was the cost of the entire package? Not much change out of a 100k I would imagine.
  7. I'm afraid that's what you get with Nissan. Tida machanics, having done their 1 day course, now trying service a GT-R. Why am I not surpised.
  8. Hey Wardy, thought you were paranoid about your losing your precious Nissan warranty? Gather you got the ok for your after market mid-pipe!
  9. Wow, great post. Your mother must be incredibly proud of your level of intelligence.
  10. Yea I've heard the dealers in WA are a heap better.
  11. 'If you really want a go in one, go to a GTR dealership. Just saying, most of the peoples here don't do joy rides.' Lol you’re joking right! Nissan dealers are the biggest bunch of wankers you’ll ever deal with, least the ones in Sydney anyway. They won’t even let you sit in one! You get lines like ‘Oh we can’t find the keys’ or ‘pay a deposit equal to the full value of the car and we might let you drive it’ What a f..king joke. The problem is that Nissan thinks the sun shines out their arse with this car forgetting that the rest of their cars are ugly and boring as batshit. Go to a Merc or a Porsche dealership and they’re literally throwing keys at you for cars of similar value. The most professional, friendly and courteous people you’ll ever deal with. I was a genuine interested buyer of an R35 and I clearly indicated to the dealer that I did not want to test drive the car but wanted one of their sales team to take me for a quick spin so I could get a feel for what the car was like. Nope not a chance. The GT-R is an awesome car, what shame it’s sold by a bunch of half-wits and dickheads. I’ll be buying 2nd hand and privately when the time comes!
  12. How much did you pay for the car and how many klms?
  13. Hey Wardy when your pick your car up. Ask them how much all the work would have cost if the car was out of warranty.
  14. Fair enough. Just wish there was an extended warranty avaliable for this vehicle.
  15. Wow, I apologise then. I was under the distinct impression from reading your numerous posts regarding the R35's transmission that you highly recommended safe guarding it with a number of upgrades to prevent the chance of a 'catastrophic internal failure'. You certainly cover the topic in some depth on your website. 'With the advent of LC4 they are as likely to fail driving to the shops as they are running 10 second passes.' Well that's reassuring from a car costing nearly 200k.
  16. Plus another 8k to ensure the transmission remains compliant. Or have we forgotten about that?
  17. Lol don't know if the owner of that AMS Alpha 12 would agree with you. Didn't win and couldn't even crack 300kph! Money well spent?
  18. That's exactly right. People who spend that kind of money to get such a miniscule increase in performance (which they would hardly ever use anyway) don't do it because it actually makes any sense, they simply do it because they can!
  19. Why you would spend 10's of thousands of dollars on modifications for an extra 0.1 to 0.3 of a second over a 1/4 mile is beyond me. Especially with these kind of results with just a mid pipe and tune. A good video this one, some nice shots taken from inside and outside the car. #!
  20. The point I was making is value for money you get over in the US for the horsepower gains you receive. I agree the 1/4 mile times seem to be measured differently.
  21. Why spend 20k++ on mods when this is all you need! http://www.dragtimes...ing-test-part-3 Another great package here too! SBD700 Package: The Ultimate Pump Gas/E85 Stock Turbo package! $4095 (10.5 @131 MPH) http://www.nagtroc.o...95-105-131-mph/
