If we go back far enough into the stagea section the OP ignored some pretty solid advice on how to go about getting his car set up with the HG turbo. I feel sorry for lilcrash that the engine has been damaged but he was warned repeatedly to drive it well off boost until he had the Nistune installed and tuned. He was pushing high levels of boost while the car was running on the stock computer with audible det prior to getting it to EFI. Most of the evidence points to his own actions. It sucks but there is no point in crying over spilt milk. IMO drop car at ERD, agree to price for tuned car with freshened/rebuilt engine and leave 100% of the work to experts.

I know someone who was arseholed by a hoon squad guy. He was driving to dinner doing a genuine 45km in 50km zone being followed by an unmarked Ford XR6/Typhoon. The guy started defecting everything in sight and not in sight to the extent (as I understand it) he was made to tow it home. The officer in question said "I love getting pieces of shit like this off the road". There a few of these cops out there who really like da power.

So many of these threads end up being manifold gasket or turbo manifold gasket leaks or split or leaking hoses that I would still be looking very carefully in this direction. I had a tiny leak from external gate/exhaust gasket that whistled really slightly that I finally fixed recently. The play in the turbo isn't a great sign but common things occur commonly.

I can't believe they didn't see the Bieber-ness in SV.

Still stock computer? Have you checked base timing? Has it been on a dyno (afr's, power level)? Many other things to check other than less likely things like injectors and regulator.

When exactly did the symptoms start and what did you change or do to the car just before the symptoms started? How are you measuring this?

I have a fuel rail with regulator in Sydney if you source the injectors separately.

I have a few stock rails if this helps anyone out.
