  1. Just dont let dave borrow your car, he loves to burn rubber Unless you got spare tyres lying round. But yes he should be able to point you in the right direction
  2. Now im tempted to put the steelies on again and do skids considering the blue streaks on them have 95% tread lol.
  3. So last night went and picked up the alloy radiator and china spec forward facing manifold. Looks the goods, cleaned it up a bit. Radiator is in excellent condition, just need to install some fans on it later on. The manifold has most sensors on it and throttle body which will fit directly onto the cooler piping being that they are both from the same car Tax return is coming very soon so brakes will be getting done within a few months. Also found a supplier for my sheet metal i need so hoping to start making a final center control unit done including gauges, iso switch, start button and fuse pannel. Along with acc switches for fans, heated windscreen and fuel pump. Heres a pic of the radiator and manifold.
  4. LOL speaking of helmets i better find mine and dust it off, she hasnt been used in about 6 months lol.
  5. Cheers brad will do. As soon as the car is running she will be down your showp for a nice full cage And maybe a tidy up of a bit of my cruddy fabrication lol
  6. Paid and Faxing forms as we speak. Going street spec this year, rear seats staying in and keeping the mags on the back, no 15 inch steelies this time lol.
  7. Hey guys quick update, I know its just boring fiddly stuff but the 32 now has headlights, tail lights and blinkers that all operate. And a circuit breaker aswell temp installed inside on the center console. Just had an engagement party so saving the pennies back up and thinking of getting the brake rotors and pads sorted next
  8. Hey fatz havent forgotten about you just been saving like a mo fo. Will be coming to see you shortly for the other few things on my list, manifold, bonnet and possibly that radiator, cheers.
  9. So in for this one! Was a helper at the last one so not missing all the fun of actually driving this time! Woo!!!!!
  10. Nice vid mate saves alot of reading and damn those flames are nice
  11. A great rim would look good on my 32 track car, if only i had a spare $500 atm, i have gold ones on my 33 very similar if not the same. Good price if i come accross a spare $550 ill snap them up.
  12. Nice job mate looks the biz, and damn that is tight like a tiger
  13. Cheers toffy. Yah i figure any off track excursions may result in a damaged cable at some point and yes the car will be fully trimless besides front seats and a dash.
  14. So guys been a bit since last update not a big one again this time. Had a spare 10min during work this arvo so whiped out the angle grinder and cut the battery tray out for the new cooler pipe for the greddy style plenum. Here's a few pics iPhone quality once again lol. Enjoy. (Please note, not final resting place for pipe it will clear edges of hole once installed properly)
  15. Well as i said had some more goodies i picked up. Managed to grab a HYBRID intercooler and custom made pipe work to go with that will match up exactly to my forward facing manifold (due to pretty much whole front end was salvaged from the same car including the manifold). Also picked up the internal front wiring harnes complete with internal fuse and relay pannel, dash cluster plugs ect. So managed to run all of that today aswell as cut the passenger engine bay out to fit the cooler pipe through. Next the original battery possition will be cut to accomidate the new drivers side piping. The pipe also came with a welded flange complete with turbosmart adjustable BOV Also can now match up my rear harnes i made to the blinkers, brake and headlight circuit along with the kill switch and center control unit Heres a couple of pics of the cooler. Wiring isnt complete and looks a little messy so no pics of that
  16. Picking up a couple of goodies and stuff tonight
  17. Well with a big aero package like that she just wanted to fly Nice work looked and sounded mean flat out
  18. Cheers for the input guys, yah i will be running a circuit breaker on that cable, looks like i have additional length to play with so might put the car up on saturday and run it underneath. Was planing on using the insulated P clamps aswell hence why the cable is loose just to get an idea on length. The reason behind the idea of having it inside the car was that the safety cut off switch will be mounted in the center cluster along side a seperate accessory fuse pannel and guages, with an external pull cable to be out under the windscreen via a cable. Plus with the cable being inside will be more protected form those little off track excursions im bound to have. With a bare interior and good clamps the chance of rubbage should be minimal. Ive found a good chassi earth in the boot so will be earthing to that along with as you said nice earths to the same rail in the engine bay
