G'day, I am trying to find the best set-up for my R32 GT-R to do some light track work (Club track days etc). The car is used rarely on the street, but still does get driven once a week/fortnight or so. I have been surfing around the various threads on brakes, tyres, and wheel sizes, and have gained some good information with regards to what fits, and what works, but I am curious to see what people have found works well for them as a combination of them all. I currently have standard brakes, standard GT-R wheels and road tyres. Ultimately, I would love to put some track tyres, the likes of Federal RSR or similar on the car. I love the look of the standard GT-R rims, so would love to put the RSR's on them. However, I don't want to do that, only to find that I really should upgrade to bigger brakes/rotors, which ultimately means bigger wheels, new tyres etc etc. I have a good grip on the suspension side of things, with some nice coilovers and all new bits and pieces there, so I'm going to focus on the tyres and brakes for the moment. So, what do you run on your R32 GT-R for recreational work. Brake Setup - Rotors/Pads/Calipers? Wheel Brand / Size? Tyre Brand / Size? Thanks in advance.

Hi I'm getting new tyres either 265/35/18 again or 255/35/18. Can u stretch either size of the tyres? I like the look of stretching, car isn't to low either so wouldn't have any rubbing problems. Rim size 18x10+15

Went on a trip down near Bridgetown, which is about a 3hr drive from Perth. Once I got out of the city and off the smooth bitumen, the road noise was unbearable Is it tyres and can it be reduced by changing the tyres? They are a mix and match of low profiles at the moment. Looking at changing rims so new tyres will come with that. Also got some gutter rash on one rim, can this be fixed?

Hey Guys Here I have my 17" Advan (AVS) Model 5 with 255/40/17 tyres at the back 17x9 with 38' offset and 23540/17s at the front 17x8 with 34' offset. Wheels came off my R33 which I sold. I wanted to keep the wheels for my new project but they wont fit. The wheels have had a good wash and polish so they shine like new. Got these Yokohama DB Euro 275/30/19 last year, and shredded one of them last night due to accident debris on the road... Hello Skyliners For sale are my BBS Challenger 19 inch rims coming off an R32 Skyline GTR Vspec (Brembo brakes) Selling due to moving to smaller and lighter wheels for track and the rims being staggered which isn't good for ATTESSA..my loss is your gain!!! Rims are BBS Challenger Stud pattern is 5x 114.3 Front : 19x 8.5 CH004 (BBS reference), Tyres are Zeetex 245/35/ZR19 Rear: 19 x 9.5 CH005 (BBS reference), Tyres are Zeetex 275/35/ZR19 I don't know the offset as the rims came with the car when I bought it but they sit very nicely and fill the guards as per the photos...there's no scrubbing at all and my guards aren't rolled. I do have some camber though : ) No major gutter rash but have very very slight scratch on one rim which can't be seen unless you look very very hard previous owners fault. Genuine Garrett GT3082 turbo with .82 Ext Gate rear housing, extrude honed housings and no shaft play, this turbo is in great condition. This turbo is in very good condition and will be awesome on any Rb25/26 combo, chasing $795.00 for it (Currently in a Garrett turbo box with packaging etc) Pic - - Next is tyres - 2 x 235/40/18 Kuhmo KU36 Street Semi tyres, Still legal tread, look like new but are slightly feathered from poor wheel align, sell for $220 for the pair 2 x 275/35/18 Nexen N3000 tyres, Tread like new, not the grippiest things i have driven on but a hell of a lot of life left, sell for $200 for the pair 2 x 275/45/18 Falken jap tyres, should be grippy but were too big for my car, awesome tread (Worn slightly in centre from overinflation) sell for $150 for the pair OR Take all 6 tyres for $500 (Photos can be taken but they are black and round, serious buyers will get pics) And a diff - R34GTT R200 DIFF centre and shafts, this diff is shimmed up and basically locked, it was running in my 34 but had an oil leak... Needs the right shaft seal replaced and should be good to go, I replaced it with a Nismo mechanical so i have no need for this, Sell for $200 (Cheap due to needing a seal and oil etc)... Hello All, Have some 17" Rays Gram Lights 57S for sale. Where on the car when i got it and have been great. Reason for sale is i have got 9" all round now so i can rotate wheel/tyres at the track. They are: 17 x 8.5 +30 - 235/45 Federal RSR's - I would say around 70% tread. 17 x 9.5 +38 - 255/40 Federal RSR's - I would say around 50% tread. Hardly any rash at all. Sorry i dont have close up pics. No dents or anyting like that. Perfectly balanced. Photos are from R33 GTST. Fronts sit in a bit cause im running 4 deg neg camber. Rears are about 1.5 deg neg camber. I ran these with no guard rolling/flaring and they where fine. Did hit the plastic inner guard on full lock at the ride height i was at. Probably due to camber. Hi Guys, I have 4x 275/30/19s for sale They have 95% tread and are in good condition,Still have the spikey things poking out in places and the writing on tread. Why am i selling ? The 275's are too wide for my R32 so i have gone with 255's and need cash. Cons 2 have minor scrapes on side wall from rubbing on rear guards, this isnt bad as the gaurds are rolled but you can see it and i'd rather call it out. Kuhmo KU36 235/40/18 off the front of my car, they have been sitting around for a while and have slight feathering as all the KU36 seem to get, still done bugger all kms on them so a good tyre for skids or daily - Sell these for $200 for the pair. Nexen N6000 or something like that, 275/35/18 in size, fit my GTT no worries...
