  1. http://www.hksusa.com/info/?id=250 T.
  2. "Hong Kong Special" Everyone who has their parts will attest to that. T.
  3. $2,300 for two turbos? T.
  4. CV joints are really only uses on cars with massive castoring on the driveshafts like FWD cars. They are certainly not on live axles or basic IRS systems like Falcodores. T.
  5. That's the question of the day. I'd rather a high CR and low boost turbo than the WRX solution. T.
  6. Here's an example: http://projectskyline.kicks-ass.net/pic/hyprev2.jpg Are they worth it? They have them for R's and S's and I think even individual models. T.
  7. How much is it just for the full rear end package? And break it down if you could. T.
  8. Well I'm interested as much as I shouldn't be. Reverse indiglo. You guys come up with a custom design and present here for vote? T.
  9. Nah I think the four bolts were all loose. But a certain speed hump in Girraween and near a popular workshop probably dropped the lot out. T.
  10. My gearbox was hanging off the lower girdle by one bolt. I was sagging the box and the lower gears would not stay in (2, 4, R). So I limped the car to the shop on 1, 3 and 5. Had the box jacked up and new bolts put in and tightened up. What a difference this makes! Clutch is now smooth and shudderless. Shift quality is up 100% with shifts even tighter (I have a "C's"). Response is unbelieveable. You slam the power down, the rear end grips and leaps off the line. Second gear grabs and squirms sideways on slam shifts. The drivetrain feels tight and without slop. And it was a completely free 'upgrade'. The workshop I go to does it right. The only downside is that the stick sits very high. T.
  11. Also from the looks of things, these are external wastegate units that do not fit the stock manifold. Sounds like $$$ down the drain to support lame duck snails. T.
  12. I prefer classical or jazz as it's calming music... it tends to slow me down, wash off retards on the Sydney roads. I tend to 'go with the flow' more. Can't beat the Strauss, Beethoven, Tschaikovsky... perhaps some John Williams, maybe some Japanese composers, Diana Krall, Nat King Cole. Oh and the ripped Need For Speed Underground Soundtrack. And the ripped Grand Theft Auto Vice City Soundtrack. T.
  13. I posted this on Performance Forums so you guys may as well look at it. I'm interested in the T34R. http://www.nitroware.net/~tony/powerdigger.jpg 300k Advise me oh wise ones! T.
  14. So lemme get this right... they left the car on bricks? The rule is that they can take anything as long as the car runs. T.
  15. 17 x 9 is a good practical size (same as R33 GT-R). 245 or 255/45/17 is a good economical size for higher powered GT-Rs. 40 series is ok too. T.
  16. A fair run of bad luck there. Spun a bearing or something like that? T.

    Hi

Must be hard driving around with the Jun bar being so low. T.
  18. It was a 2nd hand kit bought a while ago. Just had heaps to be between Point A and Point B. But makes a big difference in night driving. T.
  19. I can get a copy of this (a mate of mine is Honda lover). PM me if interested. T.
  20. S3 GT-R xenons are very expensive, rare and don't fit the GTS. Many stock cars do no have autolevel/clean and they have much more annoying blue ting'ing than good AM kits. I'd be surprised if I'm pull over for this. T.
  21. They were some odd Asian type brand (Taiwan, Korean, no idea). Compared to the dull old globes it's like night and day, so to speak. T.
  22. Please note: Carbon kevlar is not carbon fibre and there's a big difference between Japanese carbon fibre and the sort of bonnets we get here which is a sheet of carbon on a sheet of fiberglass or plastic. I doubt the ones we see here are ever baked in an autoclave. That's my impression. T.
  23. NFI what is the rating (is this Kelvin?) 5000K like a monitor? It's more white than blue though. T.
  24. Shit... sorry this is the wrong forum. Please move to "General" whoever is in charge. THX and XXXOOO! T.
  25. Long story... Here's three pics: http://www.nitroware.net/~tony/xenon1.jpg http://www.nitroware.net/~tony/xenon2.jpg http://www.nitroware.net/~tony/xenon3.jpg Bright as fark... one to two second start time. Guy who fitted them is a legend. I'm happy that they're very stock looking. T.
