  1. Why can't you buy one of the same? I cracked two NGK copper BCPR6ES plugs across the ceramic after 2,000km! Admittedly I sometimes travel as little as 25km a day to and from work (9-5 work) and I suppose I hit the car reasonably hard but never take it over 6,000rpm. Got me stumped. I have Iriways in it now but I'm probably going to go back to coppers next time. T.
  2. This company also decided that playing back CDR discs also voids the warranty on the CD player so... anything is possible with Australian cars. T.
  3. With enough money, you can do anything. This would be patently clear with the various 'fake' 4WD Autech R33 GT-R sedans made from the four door RWD 33 GTSt. Obviously this is not a cheap exercise. What about the variety of idiotic conversions you see... Station wagon Aston Marton DB7's, the 4 door AND station wagon Ferrari 456 - that little weld on hatchback on a $40,000 GT-R would be a snap. T.
  4. I can't be farked with mine... I disconnected them. Whore of a position. T.
  5. Because silver 33's are like Camry coupes... they tend to melt in with traffic as long as you're not doing silly shenanigans. If ya wanna see Skylines hang around Silverwater Rd. Lemme see... There's CRD, SAS, Revrite and other lesser known joints. I always see Skylines around the Silverwater club as they leave and depart these 'Skyline repair centres'. It is not unusual to see fully tricked up 34 GT-R's doing some silly stuff AFAIK it's still an 80 zone! T.
  6. With so many 'lines in the Ryde area, who's interested in a get together at say Mac. Uni. carpark? Dunno. Weekends? Just not Mac. Cent. (I'd never park there). I'm around Mac. Cent. on Talavera etc. for business. I drive a sick 33. T.
  7. I know that you guys know there's a lot of people of Asian decent on SAU. Be that as it may, I found this to be deadly funny I find it strange that Subes are Asian type cars in the US? They're not here. T.
  8. How west is west? In tank pumps shouldn't be too hard although for big bastard pumps you might be in for some fittings costs. I can recommend Brett and Fred at Revrite in Silverwater. Completely satisfactory, quick, no-nonsense job on my Bosch 044. T.
  9. Change any blown bulbs for the truly lame (I'm lazy!) T.
  10. I think one thing to note is that tuning is something of an art, opinion, appraisal. One tuner will always pick apart someone elses tune. You go back to the original tuner, ask him about the apparent discrepancies and I'm sure there'll be some justification, excuse etc. You can only go by people's past record and good word. T.
  11. I don't think GTST (Tolga from memory) is having a go at you. Rather he's saying that any forward facing plenum on an RB25 is a lot of work installing because you have to eff around with FMIC pipes, injectors, rails etc. etc. If you have the motor out, well fine but for a in car install, all the shite on the right side has to come out and some cutting of the metal under the washer bottle. People do it for looks often and fair enough. T.
  12. It was my impression that Xenon run colder than halogens. T.
  13. A certain dark blue GT-R, allegedly with 700hp, 'performanced' by CRD, and is quite quick down the quarter also runs a GT Drag Spec cooler. T.
  14. You guys are just jealous. You guys all want scissor doors and you know it. You all wish you looked like convenience store clerks. Haters :-( Apu
  15. Tell me if this is wrong thinking Chris... But isn't an RB26 in a "GTS" a bunch of bogus? It ceases to be a GTS without the RB25. Could I perhaps stick a 20B with a air shifted Powerglide and still call it a GTS? I mean it kinda devalues the good work people have done getting into the 10/11's with an RB25. T.
  16. Rather not many people use them (most here seem to use V-Spl or a HKS Type-S), great coolers, great kits, piss easy fit (even easier than the V-Spl from memory) but $$$ as usual. T.
  17. Bit of a fluff piece, no? If sound like an import dealer getting some free advertising hoping the B&S 'bouys and gulls' will come and buy a 'low mileage' rice burner. T.
  18. Yeah but you're forgeting that drag cars don't suffer from heat soak. How can they over that 10 seconds? Moot really. With Chinese Hybrid coolers going for less than $500, why bother? T.
  19. "Me and My Car can be heard every Monday morning during the breakfast show with Andrew Ho." Talented man T.
  20. rb26 is 240/236 in/ex rb25 is 240/240 256 to 260 is a good general setup T.
  21. I'm sure Andrew's old car had the 'choice' setup. Greddy plenum Greddy fuel rail Top feed injectors 550cc s13 throttle cable q45 throttle body T.
  22. ??? Wha??? The GT-R plenum only fits if you have the GT-R head. And the 6 throttle bodies. The Japanese do thing on a reasonably regular basis. Just to be different I suppose. T.
  23. Ah well... Sepang Malaysia is on afterwards to wash off that rice aftertaste! T.
  24. Galileo. The problem you are coming up against is simple. I hazard a guess that there are many people here who are well educated and/or are of advanced age All of us have heard of engine, fuel, paint, gearbox treatments. It's old. It's simply this... extraodinary claims require extraordinary evidence. If you have a treatment that does all these wonderful things, show us the independent research, tables, graphs, user experiences that coroborates these claims. T.
  25. I think there's a very angry young man who is dying to use this: Best way to kill the naysayers is simple. Get a MPG reading on a stock car for a full tank. Use the 'magic juice'. Record MPG readings after a full tank or more. Same driver, same driving style. The effect, if real, should be immediate. Use Prank's car. That would convince me. T.
