  1. R6 seems to be the one everyone hankers for. The posers take the R1 but the guys who want HANDLING and POWER take the R6. T.
  2. I cannot fathom the depths of bad taste that manufacturers will stoop too. Did they ever do any market research to see if these things will sell? I cannot imagine any sane person wanting these on any car... even Escalade owners. T.
  3. Fark, j00 r teh winnar! It's such a fascinating device the old FC Eftpos controller. I set mine to 8 variables and damn is that enough. I'm always interest in HC tips. T.
  4. I know something about 'pootas, pr0n and credit card transactions... My fervent wish to is to get a non-IT job. T.
  5. I posted this up again for people who want it. T.
  6. Yeah but if it's been checked and certed as OK I would value that more. T.
  7. Anywhere from $2,000 to $6,000 - maybe up to $10,000 if you're particular. The $6,000 quote was from Silverwater smash for my car (which is typical for most coupes). T.
  8. They are harder on the gearbox so use a good oil. T.
  9. How can anyone believe that the car really FLEW 60 meters??? This is not the farken Wright Brothers!!! There's no way you can get a car to fly the length of an Olympic swimming pool with the apogee (highest point) being at two storeys. T.
  10. btw. How can you tell if they're farked? T.
  11. I was reading this at work and I was surprised about the content at the bottom of the page. http://www.yamaha-motor.co.jp/eng/papercraft/ Firstly... paper models are weird enough. Secondly... the objects at the bottom shows some unique icons and tells me that these people are proud to celebrate Japanese culture. "There is something outside of motorcycles and we're happy to share our website to show this". You could never expect to see paper Commodores or Escalades could you? T.
  12. NRMA provide free towing up to 20km. T.
  13. Yes in theory you should get a ONE DAY PERMIT (like $22?) and the cops can screw you over if they wish to but in many cases they can call up your mechanic to check or they may even follow you to the mechanics. Just be polite and be nice to the police. Most of the times they don't know the law to the very letter. T.
  14. It's in the Vic forum. Sounds like he wins the Nissan imports high jump contest! T.
  15. I've been pulled over by the cops driving an unreg. car to get pink slipped and they said it was fine. I imagine 'engineered' -> 'blue slip' -> 'green slip' -> 'rta rego' It's all the same thing. T.
  16. I have the Hypermax II as well. I might give BD4S a call. T.
  17. Are you moving it to get it registered or pink/blue slipped? Just drive it if that's the case. T.
  18. Also these are the cheapest 17 x 8 (ie. serious sized!) wheels available. Cheaper 17" wheels are wank mart sizes for Lancers and Hondas. T.
  19. Full sik chops bro. I prefer #1 (Speedy Holotype-R?) simply because they are easy to clean. T.
  20. LOL I have a 52mm VDO gauge up to 25 psi. The epitome of anti-rice. White numbers on black, orange needle. T.
  21. I honestly think that part of owning a Ferrari is just enjoying that motor spin up. I mean I honestly would have a better day at work if I could spin up the 3.5 litre v8 every morning and frighten the kids at the bus stop and annoy the neighbours. Wonderful sounding motor. I wouldn't bother with Porsches and Vipers. T.
  22. The Double Six wheels are very expensive, probably up there with Manarays. T.
  23. I would imagine that a final light road tune after the dyno tune would be good to follow up on the results? T.
  24. Be also advised that if you use it to put out an engine fire, the motor will invariably have to come out OR some sort of professional clean. But if you motor is on fire you got bigger problems... Most of these extinguishers are bicarbonate so it's a fine inert powder. T.
