There's lot of these around comparatively speaking.
Off the top of my head there's the 2JZ-GTE and 1UZ-FE powered Cressidas.
The V8 one would be silent but deadly.
There's also a 1UZ-FE AE86 Sprinter going around.
Now that's a car for the Initial D Generation.

YGM.
To be honest I'm interested really in the two back wheels for burnout tyres. For the benefit of everyone I'll call an alloy wheel place and see if forged rims can be fixed. I have a suspicion they can't.
T.
If that your car? Schmick ride. LOL
I think you're probably after one of the ARC types that wrap back under the car and not over the cam covers unless say a Greddy V-SPL.
In theory the whole centre section of the M-Spec bar should be hacked out and some air saw action to cut bacl as much as the bar should be ok.
Mine still needs a shitload hacked out the back so it fully clears all the FMIC and oil cooler piping.

If yours is like mine, there's ONE factory solenoid that fires the passenger side when you do the buttons.
Mine has an aftermarket solenoid on the drivers side.
Unfortunately electrical gremlins are a pot luck thing.
A good sparky can find it in 15 mins (shorts?). But undoubtedly you'll get charged the whole hour.
T.
One question.
If you have the stock washer bottle on the right side of the car, where do you put the ballast for the drivers' side Xenon?
Mines about the size of a largish packet of cigarettes.
T.
Do you know if these auto electricians care much about the legalities of Xenon conversions given that ALL kits are technically illegal?
And can someone pass us a contact in Sydney?
T.
Really Jay?
I had a whole bunch of white cars and they were very low maintenance in regards to paint.
That and silver cars. Wash once a month if you can be stuffed.

Colours and body style varies country by country.
What colours work in Japan on your average car will not work in Australia.
I prefer stark panda white on GT-R's - no idea why. Maybe black lower parks like the front lip, skirts. It just works.
With the colours available...
32 - white V-Spec
33 - champion blue LM
34 - champagne gold M-Spec
T.
For a 33, there's not much need to go bigger than 17 x 8 simply because they have a good contact patch, is relatively cheap and they fill out the wheel wells fine.
Same for the 32.
The 34 does seem to look better with 18" rims.

I would imagine that many of the brand 'snobs' here would laugh at the 'Chinese knockoff of Hybrid' description.
That's like saying what do you think of the Chinese copies of a Casio watch? Casio IS a second rate watch.
Hybrid is not one the big name Japanese brands and at <$500, why not get a real Hybrid?
T.
Price is not such a big deal really because whichever way it goes you're probably gonna take it up the arse in install charges, FMIC and all that jazz.
But the dyno charts of a Greddy intake sure is a sobering thought. I think a new plenum on the standard runners might be a good compromise but who's plenum to use?
T.
One of the things of the original RB20/25 intake plenum is that the tubes are thin and long.
This apparently helps with low end power and torque.
The Greddy plenum has it's own runner tubes and they are big and short ie. making good high end power at the expense of low end.
One of the complaints of the various aftermarket plenums is that they bolt onto the OEM runner tubes.
Is this a good thing?
They make for neater IC piping and all the apparent benefits, a bigger plenum volume for high end and the OEM runners for low end.
Is this 'new thinking' right?
T.
I HAVE THE EXACT SAME PROBLEM!!!
If it's not a cheap easy fix I'm going to turf the whole rear end and get some Bilsteins.
My fronts are fine as is the right rear but I gotta do something about this as Parra Rd. is not usable.
T.
Bars are bars are bars.
As long as the tube has minimum flex or the desired flex or the right weight, how can you go wrong.
eg. are Japanese strut braces better than Aussie ones?
T.
Many coolers do run back underneath and not over the top.
ARC and Apex do this.
Heat soak is not really all that important with FMIC as the gas velocity does not allow much heat to transfer.
Oh and I do have both an ARC cooler and vented bonnet
I think again HPI and Ben Ellis set the standard with 292rwkW with the standard plenum and he's not the only one.
