  1. Where are you located? Hope it fits my car. T.
  2. I bought mine from Clints - $40 reduced to $25. AS Certified and the bracket is metal but it clearly looks like it was designed for wall mount. T.
  3. Fark you's all... 5" Autometer monsta gauge graduated to 40psi mounted on my bonnet! T.
  4. I met a silver 355 doing some goddamn insane speed on Woodville Rd. - every traffic light was an opportunity to rev the hell out of it and drag everyone... Corolla, Camry, Commodore. Terrible silly and dangerous but damn was it a spectacle to see and hear! T.
  5. If you want to be 100% correct, Roman Autotek can provide you with official Recaro rails. T.
  6. I fink 'ed' had these but they are $700 or so for the CF ones. T.
  7. Also I'd forget belts. It's a 100,000km job and it's big. It takes 2/3 professionals just under 2 hours to do it. T.
  8. Yeah but what about the chixz0r??? T.
  9. The stock car comes with a power amp? T.
  10. I think as guys were are so used to foul language that we often gloss over the comedy value of the stuff we write? Who knew TAFE was such a hotbed of steamy homosexual loving? Sounds very much like a 'bottom'... T.
  11. ummm... 1kg, red, steel, some Yum Cha Made In China brand? Nothing special. T.
  12. Yeah these things are disposable. A $25 buck unit from Supacheap or Ricebarn is fine. Is there a way you can wire the extinguisher gauge all the way to the dash? That would be cool. T.
  13. It's normal. To me, my car is always slow and it lacks the response I'm used to. You GROW INTO the speed of the car. Trust me... drive a shitbox for a week, come back to the Skyline and see how it's like. Everyone else who's been in my car usually needs to change their underwear and wipe the sweat off their brow once I'm done with them T.
  14. Interesting. I would imagine some of the chemicals would degrade quicker in heat. Irrelevant given that they need to be checked every few years. I need my extinguisher fastened as well but it has hopeless metal tags for it. T.
  15. If you're in Bathurst you should be right for insurance but you are 22 so... Bathurst is perhaps the home of the Skyline outside of Japan Get a full list of mods. I'd expect to pay $17k for a STRAIGHT, clean, stock '93 r33. T.
  16. I'd never drive my Skyline to the TAFE's around here. The look of the place, the LOOK of the low life scum who go there. By the same token, I wouldn't drive my car to the university I graduated from and worked at ...or the shopping centre right next to it! T.
  17. Hmmm... I think the man you need to talk to is Ben Martin 200rwkW is possible on the stock turbo but it's a freak thing where a good engine + a whole bunch of cheap mods (ie, dumps, EBC, FMIC) may get you there. I would bargain on a lot more mods to get 200 RELIABLY day in day out like a good turbo like the HKS 2530. The ECU is reasonably irrelevant, it may get you a few kW but it comes into it's own with you get up into the 225+ class. 200rwkW means something like 250 crank kW so it's a fair lot. Something like 268rwhp. T.
  18. I doubt that someone after a GT-R is the same guy who's after Soarer. One thing that surprised me on this forum and one this that differentiates this forum from others is just how serious people here take their driving. A simple point is this - ask how many people here will accept an automatic box over a manual. I imagine there are people here who would foam at the mouth at the thought of owning any automatic car. I fully understand the need to own a GT-R - it's already got the cred and for many, there's nothing else. I don't see the snob value in making only the rich enjoy high performance cars. If they get to the point that the average joe can buy one, good for everyone. I notice that S13's are devalued to the point where every kid working nightfill at Coles wants one. That doesn't make the car any less fun to drive. T.
  19. So you're telling me that all these movies with cars that explode with the lightest taps are fake??? Say my mobile rings in my pants pocket when I'm filling up at the servo? My balls won't spontaneously explode like the sign says? btw. does anyone have a list of all parts you need to get from Earls to installl an 044? T.
  20. I broke 2 hub studs off the right rear of the car. Thankfully it let go 10 meters outside of my place so I slowly drove it into the garage. Is this common or what? Does anyone do a mobile replace service for this or do I need it towed? T.
  21. I was told the Apex software can access some functions not possible with only the Hand Controller? Who are people using for dyno work in the West/North-West Sydney area? I've been recommended SAS In Silverwater. T.
  22. Have you guys seen this ad on TV? Anyone got a set of their Skyline? Interested to see how it looks like before I look into it... Do they have an offset for GTS/GTR? T.
  23. It's off. No-one is going. T.
