  1. I'm surprised that one of our 4wd cousins did not 'represent'... T.
  2. Yeah but what is their prices like? One thing that the Japanese say. Steering should be sharper as you have less weight over the struts. But it's all pretty ricey isn't it? T.
  3. One thing that does bother me greatly is these figures: FR axle weight - 925 kg RR axle weight - 850 kg Wow! T.
  4. Polites is gone from Ford. I like them. It's the most significant Ford for the last decade and as long as I can remember. It has flaws but if they fix them with some conviction (ie. weight, make it rev more, driveline)... I'd certainly want one. T.
  5. Wow. I don't know if I'm surprised that you're serious or surprised with your sarcasm... T.
  6. Q45 goes straight up. The stock one requires a ~$100 converter. Where is the Z32 TB in all this? T.
  7. I think if you look at the bottom end it's clear. You might also read the tea leaves on the rb26 vs. 2jz because you'll come to the same conclusion. But like Holdens and Fords, you choose your sides and you live with it and it'll be a cold day in hell before I own a Soarer or Supra. T.
  8. Also you might want to be absolutely sure what the new CR is. I'd imagine this is a cylinder volume test (???) not too hard to do. T.
  9. I met a whole buncha bastards who wouldn't sign off on my defect unless it was back to the original airbox. Liek yu0 kn0... get farked... Not after a spent the money on a new pod and fiberglass box. Unfortunately most places who can clear defects won't jeopardise their license for only $16.50... T.
  10. What sorta kvnt is this? My car is exactly the same. You need to find someone who'll pass you without an inspection. It's your decision really. If you want the car, you'll need a blue slip most likely to prove it's roadworthy and it's not a rebirth or something along those lines. T.
  11. Fireblade. And 212km/h is weak for one of these. T.
  12. Is that bastard big enough to strap into the passenger seat? I really like to use those T2 lanes in the morning. T.
  13. Oh yeah and thanks to those SAU regulars coming up with the goods! T.
  14. This thread would be of interest: http://board.performanceforums.com/forums/...readid=67171607 T.
  15. Does anyone have any ballpark on a composite prop shaft? Is is horrendously expensive and is there perhaps a local non ferrous example? T.
  16. I like the sound of silence. T.
  17. Model cars are a completely useless hobby and especially those who fill up display cabinets full of them but whatever makes you happy I suppose. I wonder if these will ever be worth anything given that there are allegedly 'only' 3,000 examples. T.
  18. Well... The R32 GT-R rims fit snug under the 32 GTS (16 x 8). I would imagine since that the 33 GT-R rims would not fit (17 x 9). They just fit the 33 GTSt. T.
  19. But SLY, Look into what the general consensus is in regard to the 2540. I do not believe they are as bad as people make them out to be but I do think they are perhaps a more 'hardcore' turbo which needs cams to restore the same driveability. T.
  20. Wow... Hardcore. I think that people realise that POWER is easy. Streetability, engine response is where it's at. So in that regard what is needed to make the RB motors spin up fast to the redline. I think carbon shafts are overkill but what about cheaper and more conventional items like lightened flywheels (I have a Toda!) and if you're really serious, lightened internals. What else can we do to make the motor spin up with such ease? T.
  21. I have never seen a 1:18 r33 ever. The 1:18 r34 Autoart I've seen isn't very impressive or even accurate. I have a nice little collection of 1:43 Skylines though and being a Japanese company, they are pleasingly accurate: http://www.nitroware.net/~tony/ebbro1.jpg http://www.nitroware.net/~tony/ebbro2.jpg T.
  22. I'll take the LHD headlight. And the dog. And how much for the little girl? (I always wanted to say that since I saw the 'Blues Brothers') T.
  23. In Rezz's logo for the Prince 2000GT why do they use the above symbol? As Australian's we almost overlook these things but is it not strange for a Japanese company? And do they have stickers? T.
  24. They stunk up the place until 1993! You're right in an incoherent way. The #1 manufacturers make all the truly boring cars. So Nissan under the guise of Renault want to do the same thing. I can understand why they want to kill the R34 and S15 but it's not like I agree with all these level headed business decisions. T.
  25. R33 GT-R is 17 x 9 R33 GTSt is 16 x 7.5 (and they are Maxima types) R32 GT-R is 16 x 8 R32 GTSt is 16 x 7 GT-R rims are forged. GTS rims are cast. AFAIK T.
