  1. With the proliferation of "CLASSIC NOT PLASTIC" stickers on Holdens, I doubt non ferrous panels will ever take off You mate has access to a carbon fiber 'autoclave'? T.
  2. I'm pretty sure there's a full guide to this on the maintenance forum. That white car, dark BBS style rims, GT wing and blue calipers is a masterstroke. It looks the part! I have a silver 33, bronze TE37 rims and I want to paint the calipers. What colour do you reckon? blue, gold or red? Or silver? Here's pics: http://www.nitroware.net/~tony/r33tints1.jpg http://www.nitroware.net/~tony/r33tints2.jpg T.
  3. Factor in tuning as well... it ain't cheap. T.
  4. You might want to specify size/offset (17 x 9?) and type of tyres included if any. T.
  5. GT-P sounds right. From memory the rays site does not have superceded products. T.
  6. If you intend to hit the car hard for the entirety of it's life, you have to hit from day 1. So common wisdom is that you flog it hard. T.
  7. What city? I know that RX7's came from Hiroshima. And I think the NSX came from Tochigi (not sure?). What about the 32/33/34? T.
  8. I just used mineral oil and I hit it like you'd hit Paris Hilton. 2,000km run in. T.
  9. Looks like something from NFS Underground. T.
  10. Does anyone have any info on these? Would seem to be a quite a boon for 26 owners after some more response. T.
  11. Sounds like bullshite. Why would one brand (and an expensive one at that) be so much better than a trusted one like Arias. The original builder screwed the job more likely. T.
  12. I have a R32 GTS seat in my car - the finish of the fabric is not perfect but it's close enough for 99% of people (and especially non Skyline folk) to miss. Someone who posts here also has a 33 GT-R seat in 32 and it is an invisible OEM like match. T.
  13. I'd also recommend Revrite as the Skyline guy there owns a GT-R and the owner knows Skylines back to front. I'd rather pay an expensive expert to do things quickly than a cheap 'know nothing' dick to **** around for ages. Perhaps the same result in the end but my time is precious and so is yours. T.
  14. That's not far behind the 2835 if current verified figures are to be believed. Be that as it may, there's several variants of the 2835 but this vindicates some of the bad press written about the 2540 nonetheless. T.
  15. Bah! Believeable if you were talking about your anal virginity... T.
  16. Now that's dirty! It would be extremely dirty if you rubbed the crotch of her teddy on the 'spot' and she wore it. I must admit that I'm quite fond of operatic type music like Sarah Brightman, Charlotte Church and jazz like Diana Krall. T.
  17. Let's talk the same language here. The seat itself sits on a rail that slides back and forth. This rail then bolts onto a frame that has eyes for the bolts that go into your floor. The rails are general easily available in reasonably generic form (ie. from say Revolution Racegear). The frame that is custom to the R32/33/34 (same IIRC) is harder to get. T.
  18. I have a rubber pipe on the left side quarter of my car that drains water from *somewhere* in the bodywork. My car has no rust otherwise. T.
  19. 13.3 is about avg. for a soft launch and avg. reaction/60ft times. Something well into the 12's is possible. 180awkW is also avg. for a stockish RB26. T.
  20. WIth 105kW, you ain't going sideways let alone forwards all that quick T.
  21. I think any sort of 90's race big budget race car is out of the question for private ownership. I think you might able to own a Commodore Group A machine like a Brock Commodore but wouldn't V8 Supercars be stretching the bounds of maintenance? Surely one can buy Formula Fords and Atlantics but stuff like Ford Sierras and the Group A Skylines is getting into the 'space age' in terms of materials. T.
  22. That's not the point, dude. Many guys here own track only cars. Well if you have the money... go for it. T.
  23. There's this company called Flying Performance: http://stores.ebay.com.au/Flying-Performan...e-International They sell a dump pipe that comes from the same source as someone on this forum. Therefore the pipe is called a 'Flying Dump' as opposed to a HKS Split dump or something of that ilk. T.
  24. I find it ironic but you guys sound like a bunch of soffc0cks when you have to resort to that to say 'c0ck'. That Edge front bar is damn ugly. I had a Bomex front but it's 'unrealistic' for Sydney roads and 'road furniture' if you know what I mean ;-) T.
  25. Well I called two places today and like many things... it's inconclusive. One place was adamant that forged couldn't be fixed. One said forged can be on a case by case basis... T.
