  1. it's fine appart from the corner that is broken off where a bank hit it (i put it back together for the photo) roy: it's for the front.
  2. got a copy of our diffuser made in alloy. Alloy is much much cheaper than another ganuine nismo kevlar one.

  7. day 2 we fill after the sidling in scotdale, then in st helens. day 5 is going to be the hard day on fuel. need to fill up at queenstown, and after arrowsmith. i don't think your allowed to carry fuel in the car this year?
  8. I got myself a sony 580 cam, and i'm ordering a sd recorder today. i'll post the clips when i get it running, i'm just trying to decide where to mount the cam.

  10. if your hdd is mounted the right way (with the platters vertical, not horizontal), it should survive everything barring a latril impact.

  12. what's the go with the diffusers? I read that Brawn, Williams and Toyota have somthing differnt about theirs, but not what it is that is different. I'll be in Melb to watch it
  13. We got the rear muffler cut off yesterday to save weight (still got the middle one), and when we get the car back from the workshop i'll pulling the trim , and 4 lap sash belts out. Hoping it all should equil some kg's.
  14. N1 should already have a nismo catch can on the passengers side. The N1 oil cooler is designed to take up the ac condencer & bottle space. My mate has a R32 nismo edition, and they came with a N1 cooler, but he has 1/2 a condencer that sits on the passengers side of the radiator. I'd be careful of putting a condencer between the oil cooler and ratiator. Just cause it's less air flow for the radiator. Do you know what model the trust ti is? i'm after a 80mm Trust ti-r for the Targa car.

  17. how are you mounting your bullit cam? i've got one, just working out where to put it?
  18. finished stripping the R33 yesterday (need to nick a cam from work). When i pulled the carpet up, I found a HKS F-Con S. The rear wheel bearings we got were the wrong size so we can't move it to get the cage in yet. Nissan said there was a set in Melb, so we should be able to get it to the cage builder by the end of the week.

  22. Got some of the R33 stripped on the weekend. just have to take the rear seats out, and the carpets now.
  23. yep we rally a genuine n1, and the other n1 in tassie is a rally car too..... it's the reason they were made. running 1.3 bar of boost with the pfc boost control kit. R33 N1's do not have ball bearing turbos. they run a bigger than std bush bearing steel wheel turbos. The N1 engine is much more refind than the std one, we run ours to 8500rpm ABS was a delete option, never seen one with that box ticked though. there is no need to replace the r33 airbox, it breathes realy well, as it's got 2 air intakes. you don't want to sell the kevlar diffuser cheap do you i broke ours last year.

  25. I'm getting a Traqmate gps logger. But i'm going to use Trackvision to read the datalog and put the gauges on video.
