  1. didn't they take the head off Glennys car last year to make sure it wasn't a stroker?
  2. Will Glenny be in the the commo then?
  3. hope so, saw you parked accross the road from dad's work on sunday.
  4. got the engine back in on sun. just have to put the other parts back in the engine bay, and do the rear bearings and bushes, and it's ready.
  5. unfortinatuly zandvoort got cut in 1/2 to make way for houses. so it's really to short for formula1 now.
  6. boost automotive on invermay rd
  7. I'm after a 80mm Trust TI-R for a R33 GT-R, but i need it in Tas by the 24th of April at the very latest. Does anyone know if there is any in Aus. thanks
  8. so the gts-t is even l-r? cause the gtr is lob sided from what i've read.
  9. should see a drop in your times at symmons with all that extra power. what was the L-R weight ratio?
  10. We had some D03 M1's we tried at Symmons, we found they build up pressure way to fast. I'd do a 5 lap's, come in and drop them to 32 psi, do 5 more laps and have to drop another 5-10psi out to bring it back down to 32 psi. and you could do that all day long, i'm surprised there was any air left in them. I run D02 R1's on my R32, and they are much more stable. The RE55's SR on the Targa car are very stable too.
  11. I run Hawks in my car. I get them through Boost.
  12. pretty sure it's only got basic recall (60 secs max). Gsensor is mainly used for wheelspin correction on the 400m tests. With uncle kevs money i'm getting myself a traqmate (http://www.traqmate.com), GPS datalogger, with Gsensor, and axilery inputs for TPS, Brake swtich, steering angle(hicas sensors finally have a use).... that's if i don't get that exa
  13. You'd pick a R32 over a R33/R34? Might be lighter, but it's got those big old laaggy turbo's, old slow attessa, and older suspention
  14. I have a closed face and prefur it. mainly cause I feel safer in it, and I find it more comfortable. I think it just comes down to personal preference.
  15. how good are early 4wd's realy? with the exeption of the group b homoligation cars. Looking back at wrc in the 80s, the 2wd cars were still bloody quick on tarmac (Seirra RS500, Lancia 037...). I don't think that any of the allowed 4wd cars in Classic Adelaide have been near the front, even with Glenny behind the wheel. I'll be intersed to see if the Celica's go anywhere when they are allowed in next year.
  16. Matt close can stay in late modern
  17. anyone think the chicane on oldina was too small? apparently there were a lot of complants about it.
  18. I'll be running in club days and hill climbs, hopfully i'll make it down to baskers this year. And of corse the MCC, we might try this year. I'll be running in Targa again, we'll be looking for a crew. Now I just have to get round to putting the car back together.
  19. did the guy you naved for do the rookie rally in 07?
  20. i know the ra has better diffs, a short ratio box, and is lighter. pretty sure spec c is the same as the ra
  21. mozz showed the the photo's on his phone. That's Craig Brooks a local Tas guy, i think he's buying a new shell off uncle les.
  22. I saw this car in action yesterday. it is unbelievably quick. But it is very hard on brakes, the officaials at the end of the stage said it was the onlt car to have glowing rotors at the end of the stage. And the once gold calipers have turned a poo brown colour because of the heat. I'll be interested to see how is lasts Targa Tas (esp if it's got proper rubber by then). oh and it was the best sounding car in the field. only thing that is better is the lambo's (which weren't entered)
  23. Is the service park where it was for Rally Burnie? i'll pop in and say hi if it is.
  24. who needs cams, aasa ftw! my local club dosn't realy enforce the camera rules, they just use common sence.
  25. he had his passenger seat and trim in. and 5kg of drift cred
