  1. is it big enough in the other dimentions to compensate?
  2. I'll probably go a header tank, as it will make the radiator a fair bit cheaper i'd imagine.
  3. i'll be getting a cross flow radiator, but make it 20mm shorter, and the airbox will sit ontop of it (with heat proof material inbetween)
  4. I got myself a GTR fuel tank on the weekend. Originaly got it cause i thought it would be lighter (plastic vs steel), but when i put it beside the Gtst tank, i found it was a fair bit bigger. I just found a service manual which says the gtst has a 60l tank, i'd just assumed it was 72l like the GTR. Should be all set for some E85 action now. Also fitted the steering wheel. Planning to get some alloy donuts to make the intercooler piping up next.
  5. the difference between the two proposed routes
  6. can you monitor sensors with the password on?
  7. easiest way, plug a laptop in and reconfig the TPS 0% and 100%
  8. have you added up the differences? it's all of 15km different
  9. Most of the top guys don't want to punt a Skelta fast cause they don't feel safe in it, let alone a R400. Speaking of crashes, that blue evo that hit the power pole only had a bolt in cage. Which surprised me
  10. it's already on the superlap site i'm not sure if the splitter is big enough
  11. just needs a louder exhaust to sound liek this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hEK7POxpVeE not that it sounds too bad as it is
  12. yes me and dad did the first tour. Dad apparently was told that you could drive though the stage, but would be kicked out if you went too fast. By the start line there was a sloow tour leader.....it was a trap....a cold wet trap as the gt40 leaks like a siv
  13. you can only go in the tour if you went to school with noah, or can crash a r35 at 10km/h and hide it behind a chicken shed
  14. MR2's are almost as much of a death trap as the old 911's with the engine waaay over the back
  15. you'd need to do a heap of oil control mods to keep oil out of the cam covers and catch cans too. Funny how the R33 is a better car, but no one wants to be seen racing in one
  16. R33 is a superior car, and the extra wieght is only from good things (more rigid chassis, and gearbox). Even if they are cheaper to buy, i think the running costs will be higher, engine is more, gearbox is more, and less R33 wrecks about to rape and pillege...and even less R33 GT-R's to strip for lightweight parts. The tourqe would be nice, but there are cheap and legal ways to get tourqe out of a 20
  17. well classic was edge of your seat stuff this year....oh wait no it wasn't
  18. Rx7's are only fast if you have a mullet
  19. I think he's abit abishious with 11.5:1, esp is 2.5 bar. Wonder how many engines he'll have explode.
  20. i can't imagine it'll be easy to drive with a short wheel base, and the lag from a t51. But the 11000 rpm might help
  21. it's not that far
  22. from memory when we ordered them there was only 2 to chose from (7.5 and 14). The standard GTR ones are smooth from memory, Nismo might have updated the range. we chose the 7.5 (8) cause we both drive on the street a lot, and didn't want a super aggresive one. My 7.5kg kit ended up with 9kg of preload when it was tested.
  23. what brand and compound are they?
