  1. What is the smallest id of your exhaust system?
  2. You're making more power at your engine flywheel then the turbo can flow on a test bench on its own with no restriction in front of or behind it, see what I mean?
  3. Yes the inducer and compressor cover inlet.
  4. So you're restriction remains present.
  5. You're in Inlet pipes might be 63.5mm which is great but you're inducer is like 47mm from memory.
  6. So I'll start this off by asking what have you modified on the turbo to make it more efficient in some way?
  7. Genuinely good people are hard to find, hopefully it's up and running soon. [emoji106]
  8. The compressor map that I just showed you is of the turbo on a bench on its own, not on an engine. the turbos compressor wheel doesn't get more efficient or grow in size by adding it to an amazing engine.
  9. how are you raising the flow without raising the boost these garretts are measured up to 3.1 bar absolute which is obviously 2.1 bar of boost which is 30.45 psi and are living at 165,000 rpm that's the end of the road for this turbo. For you to make your Power claim you would need to exceed this pressure which you haven't done because they physically won't do it.
  10. The RPM in this case is dictated by the boost your running which is 25psi. How else do you make a turbo spin faster you raise the boost
  11. I've barred workshops all together for doing shit like this to my other 32 so I know exactly what your going through. Always plenty of finger pointing going on. Now i have serious trust issues when you expect your car to be in the best hands, it almost never is. I'm never leaving my car with any workshop, It's been about 13yrs since I've used one and couldn't be happier.
  12. How you achieved 760 to 780 engine horsepower is beyond anything I've ever witnessed or believed was possible. From memory 5's run right outta puff at about 360hp each at around 2 bar. Your running less boost and tiny injectors but are able to find 40 to 60 hp more? I reckon theres a sneaky 70hp wet shot thrown in there just quietly.
  13. Lol. but you're missing the point I didn't want 700 wheel horsepower that's why I went -5's.
  14. Long way away from 700 horse
  15. Well I'll throw in mine for laughs. Run in tune and definitely not the final tune! (fresh motor) 98 octane petrol (flex is coming) 86.5mm Tomei stroker Type A cams not dialed in yet 4wd dyno & a stinking hot humid day too. The higher figure is with the factory R32 airbox cracked open to see the back to back restriction it gave.
  16. Referring to the RB as its an RB26 thread
  17. Interesting, you sir may be the new -5 champion!
  18. Pootta k & n bra Do free inch, shut tha gate!
  19. Little off topic, but is there any video links on YouTube of your car? couldn't find any and my son is hassling me to see it running he wants to see it going around the track. Lol cheers
  20. Was your run on a Hub dyno?
  21. That must also be a record for stock front mount.
  22. If those inlet pipes make the turbos flow more than there physically capable of flowing I'm buying some tomorrow
  23. I'm gonna throw it out there, I reckon the pull was done in 3rd gear or its a PDF dyno.
