  1. Dont give those silly dream boats idea's.
  2. Motorbike,up the guts,cover plate,done.
  3. You got a shitty tune in there thats for sure. If you need a more detailed explanation on how to get it sorted pm me your number and I can walk you through it if you like. do you have the hand controller?
  4. Did i miss the auction? If not. I got $90 on it.
  5. The last car i tuned managed to double the factory power output at the wheels and went from stock ecu with 13psi 260km to 280km around town 330km highway. Made 153 wkw To 22psi 450km to 460km around town to 550km to 580km was my absolute best driving to Melbourne! street tuned but amlost maxed out the Z32 afm est 250 to 260wkw was so excited about the 580km i almost came unstuck on the Monaro Highway in The National Park. best way to test your fuel economy is to run out of fuel completely I guess. Those bends tho[emoji3] On twice the power output. Tune was safe as and could be bashed on no matter how hot it was outside.
  6. Your doubling the the potential lbs/min flow of the -5 Map aren't you? So when I see 35lbs it's theoretically 70lbs. Was just pointing out similarities in flow vs pressure ratios.
  7. *Regarding the to4z map if that's what it is. it seems a bit hard to read but it looks like it says 65% efficiency at the top island of the compressor map, which also requires more pressure to get there. Just doesn't seem as energy efficient is all I was saying. but not bad it actually looks really good for an old school single, I like em. *regarding the 10lb's/min -5 vs T04z 20lb's/min which is essentially 7psi boost and neither have cracked the wastegate at that pressure and they are both identical as the dash 5's are used as twins so it's 10lbs of air from each -5 totaling 20lbs/min. Look at the popular wastegate pressure ratio of 2bar which is (1bar boost) it shows the -5's out flowing the T04z by 10lbs/min. I have had the pleasure of going in a fully built stroked ca18 180sx imported from Japan which had one on it and it was mega still one of the loudest n quickest cars I'd been in.
  8. (707160-5) dash 5's stack up nicely against that compressor map maxing out at virtually the same numbers.Lower half of the -5 Map looks better as it moves more air at a given pressure which helps with response but tapers off a bit earlier.
  9. Have you forgot already that you actually removed that one thing that may we'll have saved your rear turbo from leaking oil. It's actually very critical that you don't oversupply oil pressure to the cartridge on ball bearing turbos when running a high volume oil pump. I actually recall you saying you had the HKS .8mm restrictor years ago, but you ran the 1.2mm one with your big oil pump. The result is that you expired a turbo very quickly from over pressurising your ball bearing cartridge with oil pressure which was meant to be drip-fed. Common issue when running a larger oil pump. Not really the Turbo's fault[emoji19]
  10. You inspired me to kick off my training regimen again, training starts tomorrow 2am. #needacupofconcrete
  11. I still have no idea why people trash the power fc. Yes it's basic in features but it works.
  12. Surely there is someone there local that can help you find a vacuum leak, hoses, gaskets especially the inlet manifold gasket maybe try pressurising it through your intercooler with the car off see if you can hear leaks or try http://www.sau.com.au/forums/index.php?/topic/110431-Diy-Aac-Valve-Cleaning-&-Idle-Reset. And please tell me you didn't drive your car for that distance on the power fc base map
  13. Car should not have been tuned until issue was rectified, otherwise it may need to be tuned again. Could have a vacuum leak.
  14. Hunting from lumpy cams or HIGH? What's high idle?
  15. If the idle ignition timing was initially in the ECU at 20* you want to set your base timing at 20* so obviously the ecu's adjustments are directly related to what is really happening at the crank angle he may have put it down to 10* while tuning. Which means he has 10 degrees less timing @ idle.
  16. Always depending on setup. There is no silver bullet afr.
  17. You're right there most people don't even know how to sit correctly lol
  18. That's equivalent to you picking 2 of yourself up off the floor! What people don't understand is how much easier life is to live when you are that strong to your own weight ratio you can do everything so much easier and go looking for heavy shit to pickup[emoji23]
  19. I wanna show you to some of the lazy sloths I know
