That has to be the most narrow minded comment I have ever read. If you were the driver in that situation, are you saying your emotions would not switch to a state of panic and force you to slam the brake pedal through the floor? Be honest with yourself before you answer.
I have completed a defensive/advanced driving course and would recommend all to do one. However, it did not affect my driving style one iota. All it did was enlighten me by displaying my cars ability in a controlled environment. By controlled I mean I was expecting to push the brake pedal with a certain force and at a certain point on the track, and I was expecting the car to get side ways on the skid pan. Because every situation was controlled (wether I actually had control of the car or not) forced my emotions to remain calm so I could think about what I was doing. As soon as you're on the road in the real world... good luck.
