  1. Which one did you ring? I got quoted $75 a piece from Blackburn Nissan!
  2. How many people for each type thus far??
  3. Where was the accident? I saw a white 33 (chick driving) in carpark 2 with the spare on last week and saw another white 33 tuesday with a nice rear bar....
  4. By this do you mean you changed just the clutch plate and kept everything else stock? How much is this mod going to set me back?
  5. Same as me! Remember, its not what you've got, its what you do with it that counts
  6. You can buy the parts seprately tho... cant you? Your Daiken Exedy Clutch is a full replacement kit? Is it much heavier than stock? Very everyday driveable? I'm assuming upgrading the spring and pressure plate is going to make it heavier? My aim is to get more power to the ground on a budget whilst trying to maintain a stock feel (the car is driven everyday after all). Upgrading the whole package doesnt really appeal to me because I'm not planning to do many more mods which will lead to the stage where its required. I just want something that is going to make the car a bit stronger off the line and maintain everyday driveablility.
  7. Cheers Gordon. Thats a great tute! So theres my first paragraph solved. Now need to know what options are available to upgrade. I'm assuming that to get better performance out of a clutch (without spending lots of money) is to upgrade the clutch plate seeing as it provides the connection with the flywheel? This would also not affect everyday drivability because the standard pressure plate and diaphragm spring have not changed? Does the pressure plate have to be changed if upgrading the clutch plate? This has got me thinking... I need answers...
  8. If there’s one part of the drive train that eludes me it’s the clutch. Sure it’s a device that disengages/engages the gearbox with the engine, but I've got nfi how it actually works or the terminology associated with it. After doing a search, people have been talking about clutch plates, pressure plates, thrust bearings, # puck, cushioned buttons, complete kits, etc, and I'm wanting to know what all these things are and how the affect getting the car's power to the ground. I'm planning to upgrade my clutch in my R33 and want to know what I'm getting before I get ripped off. Cheers.
  9. I agree... But theres always one. If someone becomes a spastic, I hope the rest of us dont go down for it as well. I'll be there anyway

    Number Plate...

lol sif number plates have anything to do with coppers pulling people over. Red plates on front and rear windows may be another story...

  19. People have asked for more pics and stuff so here we go: My Siemens "Smart Pass" is the same size as a credit card. Genuine Greddy logo stamped into the cooler. Inside the end tanks. Everything you need. Piping... obviously. Perfect mandrel bends. V-SPL Intercooler for ECR33. Fins are protected by original packaging. Securely packed and ready to go.
  20. I found that the only real problem with the standard gauge is its size. Its just physically too small for the human eye to read accurately without markings. Comparing it with my Blitz gauge, the needle has about 5cm to move to reach 1 bar, whereas the stockie has maybe 2.5cm. I've noticed that it is a little slower but moves to a position where the maths suggest it should be (ie the mmHg of stock ~= Bar of Blitz). Also, I set the boost level on a dyno (more accurate than any gauge) to 13 PSI and the needle sits a few mm below +7 where it should be.
  21. Why the hell do you need to rev to that point anyway? You on a mission to blow something? GTST :werd: and :werd: Bobby^: I'm not believing that a shit pod was causing the problem. Were the spark plugs changed before the apexi pod was put on or at the same time?
  22. Yes @ Latrobe Uni
