  1. I havent clocked up 750km yet... Should've by the weekend
  2. I didnt even decide to go till about 7. Definately going earlier next time :uh-huh: Awesome time Bass. What mods you done?
  3. I asked at the gate and they said 80 cars were competing. It took about 15min between runs. After 10:00 it became a lot quicker as people started to leave.
  4. Yah when I spoke to him he was iching for a 13.4 Nice time meggs. You must've left before I got there coz I dont remember seeing your car. It was a last minute decision to go and I didnt plan to race. We got there late and didnt decide to run until about 8:45, then the burnout comp started, and I didnt get a go until about 9:40 (ended with 4 runs). Best was a 13.803 @ 102.84 with 2.332 60'. I was very disappointed coz I ran a 13.83 @ 101.53 at Heathcote with less mods and crapper tyres. MPH is consitantly up tho, the lowest being 101.54, I just couldnt get the car off the line. My 60' times were dismal  and changes into 2nd were shocking :spew: I've got a 13.4 begging somewhere, I can sence it
  5. I was there.... Bass, did you manage to crack 13.4?
  6. Bayside blue
  7. That sounds like it was concocted after consuming a green apatite stimulant sfk1au, dont knock the 2 min noodles on toast! Its great! I dunno about those other toppings tho...
  8. Stuff the M3, just go the Mini Cooper S Thought about a Merc? E55 AMG's certainly get up and boogie and no cop is goin within a country mile of it... I dunno how much they're goin for tho.
  9. Thats the biggest argument for doing it yourself! Next time you need to install some hardware under the hood the tools will already be there and pay for themselves! If the tools are cheaper, you save money. Even if the tools are only $1 cheaper you're still going to save money (I mean to sound like a tight arse, I'm making a point). You'll also know with 100% certainty that the job has been done properly, and working on the car is fun!!!
  10. I believe this is the thread: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/sh...&threadid=23103 Which Maccas? Heidelberg, Preston, Coburg? There are a few.... I drive up the Heidelberg end of Bell St almost everyday so cheers for the warning.
  11. Happy Bday Dale!!! I'll try and pop in for good wishes and beer
  12. Do it yourself and save $$$ Its just a coupla bolts and an oxy sensor. I watched mine be professionally installed (30 mins... if that) and was disgusted when I got the bill.
  13. That is exactly what is happening but the needle is still going to sit at the same rpm....
  14. I think what MM2death is trying to say is that less weight on the pedal is required to keep it at 100km/h. I've done about 400km since Roil went in and this is something I have just begun to notice. There is certainly no way in hell that its reving lower tho.
  15. If this is still happening, I'm in!
  16. What he said ^ Also, I've been to the skidpan/drags but never had the car on the track before. Will there be any form of tuition for beginers (ie instructors giving pointers etc)? And the main concern; is there much of a chance that I could completely fark my car up (not that I plan to go too hard)?
  17. I really should check the events section more often.... I could be up for the cruise, but might have to sort out the uni timetable first. Its 1 of the 2 months every year when uni gets busy
  18. I also put Roil in my car on the weekend with the full service. No noticeable differences yet but I'll let you know how it goes.
  19. email sent
  20. Doncaster wil do
  21. Nah didnt ask. Its done 70k odd km from memory...
  22. I hope my coilovers are in that container too If you want a good RB25, PM jetgts as he is wrecking his old car. I went and picked up a few bits and pieces off him and the engine was in very good condition.
  23. Correct. It is P plate restriced under the power to weight ratio. From memory the only Skyline on the list is the Aus delivered 32 GTR.
  24. I've said this a billion times, that list was phased out in 2000 (so no cars built after 2000 are on it). It is still available because every car originally on it is still restricted, but you should go by the power/capacity to weight ratios now.
  25. LOL @ Chef_32 Not anywhere near as bad as 3 demerit points for dodgy number plates! I was fuming when that law got introduced. It is the icing on the revenue cake. This is true. I have seen it done. Write a letter stating how sorry and stupid you are bla blah and you should get off... It MUST be your first EVER offence.
