  1. boooo to you! I quite liked those comments... edit - Just had a read myself 1st post updated
  2. It is almost impossible to determine what quarter mile times/speeds you're going to achieve by looking at a dyno reading. 2 examples from earlier in this thread: I ran a 14.3@98mph with a dyno reading of 126rwkw, you ran 14.1@103mph with 162rwkw. I ran a 13.8@101mph with 144rwkw, Franks ran a 13.8@99mph with 199rwkw. I'm not sure how much clearer these examples can be. Its not just the final dyno figure that matters, its everything that happens in the rev range as well.
  3. Fair point, but if the car hits a low 12 whats going to stop it from doing it again? I remember someone one the forums claiming a 12.9x with std turbo. I also know of another who claims 12.6 with stock turbo, but the only thing stock was the turbo.
  4. 12.7 at a bare minimum. That mph is good for mid-low 12s. 2rismo, what tyres were you using?
  5. Hello all, I have a Trust V-SPL Intercooler for ECR33 and have decided not to put it on my car (coz I need mo). It is now up for grabs. Specs: *Brand New - That means never been used and still in the box. *Core Size - 600x270x76mm *Full Piping Kit - Comes with every nut, bolt, clamp, rubber connector, hose, t piece, and cable tie you need to fit it straight onto your car. It even comes with a replacement wiper reservior to accomodate the new piping! I have seen similar kits by HKS, Blitz, and Apexi all for around $2500 at local retailers/performance shops. I'm after SOLD!! but may be open to reasonable offers. I'm in Melbourne so I'd prefer local buyers. Interstate buyers will be responsible for all postage charges (at cost) and provide full payment via direct deposit before I go to the post office (sorry cant be stuffed being burnt). Otherwise payment will be in the form of cash or direct deposit into my bank account. All prices are in Australian dollars PM me for a phone number, email address, or offers if you're interested. Pics: I'll post more pic upon request. Cheers
  6. Yeah alright, my bad. My 1st post was edited before yours appeared so your comment was really not necessary.
  7. What about this:
  8. They're really only 1 suburb away from each other. I used to live in Fitzroy North. Good area, nice and laid back Trams will certainly be your best friend.
  9. PM your offer and I'll see if I can go there.
  10. Now that you mention it, no not 100%. Its quaility mandrel bent piping anyway. When I bought it the exchange rate in Japan was not as good as it has been in recent times. The price is negotiable. People are welcome to buy this other one. He is in Perth, I am in Melbourne.
  11. How long did it take
  12. I dont really know what to say. Good replacement tho. I spose he got sick of being wasted by Skylines. "If ya cant beat 'em, joint 'em"
  13. I'm with the bigger 25DET. Cheaper and should out perform with a few sensible mods.
  14. Me too, with a smile
  15. :uh-huh: :uh-huh:
  16. Saw a guy do a similar thing the other day in a 33. He sped off into the distance while other drivers give me the "import look of death". I hate c*nts!

  18. Jeez the fuzz is crackin down hard! How many here in the last month? At least no fine.
  19. 30 mins? "Tell him he's dreamin" Unless you have a front facing plenum... I've changed mine twice. The first time it took 2 hours, second just over an hour. Where you people live?
  20. No. The platinums were fine until I put the bleeder on and upped the boost. I put the platinums in (gapped at 1.1mm) after having driven 10,000km with coppers. There was no initial difference in performance. At this stage the car only had a cat back zorst. I then regapped them to 0.8 (after antuan's recommendations ) and was pleasantly surprised at how much smoother acceleration had become. I then added a front/dump pipe and bleed valve. The car was making more power but at less boost because anything higher than stock, misfire would own me. After some research on plugs I found that copper conducts better than platinum, copper plugs have a bigger head and thus easier to produce a spark, and carbon deposits have a higher bias to bond with platinum so coppers are able to clean themselves (easier) if you give the engine a boot. The only area platinums 'win' is life length coz platinum is more solid/dence than copper. If you dont plan to modify your car go platinums otherwise coppers win hands down :uh-huh: .
  21. I have a foot spa Might give it a go. Any special chemicals/cleaning agents to use??
  22. My uncle's GSX-R 750 is good for sub 11 quarter miles. Only mod is exhaust. It would take an animal of car to beat it... I'm guessing its the same for most other bikes.
  23. I hate c*nts. I wish they would leave others shit alone!
  24. $800??? I dunno if that includes filling where they've been 'eaten' but I got quoted $60 per wheel at Mag Wheel and Tyre Chiffly Drv Preston to go from alloy to gold.
  25. BMT arnt gonna know what hit 'em with you dragging all the business away I'll drop in soon to annoy you with an aerial
