  1. GTR one flows more air. Better if you are running high boost. Pretty much bolts straight on yeh.
  2. I have one for sale if need be
  3. I wouldn't use the cigarette lighter if you use it for things like GPS, phone charger, etc. It tends to blow fuses when you put too much load on it. You can use the power source for the little ring of light around the cigarette lighter if you prefer, I used that to wire my gauges. Or there are plenty of other ignition wires behind the dash
  4. Another +1 for BC's, I love em. Haven't seen any bad reviews except the one guy who snapped a spring, but that was covered under warranty. I wouldn't put cheap ebay cam gears on my engine though, that's in a whole other boat.
  5. I don't trust Pedders either. I took my car there for a wheel alignment and free 28 point safety check. They f**ked up the wheel alignment. And then told me my rear cradle bushes were shot and it was going to cost around $5k to fix because it is an import and they have to completely custom make a new cradle. Yehhhhhh no. If you're in WA then it's WA Suspensions or bust. I took the car there straight after Pedders, the boys said there was a little bit of movement in the cradle but it really wasn't that bad, they replaced the bushes with pineapple bushes to tighten things up and fixed the wheel alignment. Cost me 500 bucks.
  6. Fair enough, my mistake. I thought when you said you wanted to put a stainless or chrome tip on it you meant more than just extending the stock exhaust. Yeh if all you want to do is extend the pipe a little bit so the exhaust sits further out then it won't make a difference to sound.
  7. Well if you've only blown one turbo then the other one will still be boosting. Check cat first, quick and easy.
  8. You've never seen a sexy Hyundai or Honda with a cannon have you? Of course the tip makes a difference to sound, it sounds terrible! The tip of the exhaust on a stock exhaust is a type of muffler, if you change that muffler without changing the exhaust it sounds like absolute shite! Victor said he wants to change the tips, hence going to sound terrible. You can't get aftermarket tips for cheap that are going to sound good, high quality mufflers are expensive. If you're going to spend that money getting a tip welded on and your exhaust extended, you might as well go whole hog and get an amazing quality exhaust that sounds like Pamela Anderson on full scream.
  9. After filling it with coolant you need to make the radiator the highest point on the car so the air can get out, otherwise you will get airlocks. Very simple, just undo the radiator cap and jack the front of the car up. Then cut a 2L coke bottle (or similar) in half and put it in the radiator hole. Keep topping the coolant up until all the bubbles have stopped (shouldn't take too long).
  10. Yeh give Kermit a call and discuss some options. He is a good bloke, he won't mind talking to you about it
  11. It won't sound very good though. Kermit will make you something that sounds AMAZING And for not that much money either. My exhaust cost me $700. Cheaper than any Jap brand and much better to boot.
  12. I think you will find that it does.
  13. Thread opened. Playing mods is fun
  14. Lol you guys are going to make someone cry... Again.
  15. Dude, highly recommend you check out www.triedandtruefitness.com. Matt Marshall is the author, his programs are amazing. If you read his background story you will find he was in a very similar situation to you now when he first started. I tailor his routines and diets to suit my needs, given I don't want to stack on heaps of muscle because I play a lot of sport and want to keep my speed.
  16. Lol yeh I agree. Like my last ex, she has torn her ACL three times because she doesn't have the muscle strength to support the ligaments. She refused to drink protein shakes because she didn't want to become all butch and manly lol.
  17. Lol well that's why kenyans look like they do as well
  18. Lol OP, I don't think anyone was pissed off. I was just saying you should try searching because I found a few threads that would possibly be of use to you
  19. Essentially yes. If you are trying to put on muscle size, it's best not to do long distance running. When you do long distance you release cortisol which is a muscle wasting hormone. Not only does it prohibit protein synthesis, it actually produces enzymes that destroy your muscle. That is why most long distance runners look like this: You would be better off doing High Intensity Interval Training. Which is essentially sprint flat out for 30 seconds (give it 100%, all you got) and then rest for 2 minutes. Then go again. Repeat until you can no longer do it. This is farkin hard no doubt about it, it often made me vomit when I was first getting into it. But the results are incredible. Not only does it increase your aerobic fitness and burn massive amounts of fat, it helps build muscle because it is an anaerobic exercise. It promotes the release of human growth hormone which helps you put on muscle. That is why most sprinters look like this:
  20. Lol yeh no, when I say 8kg of muscle mass I mean I have put on about 5kg since I started but have lost a fair bit of fat, I am much more toned. Personal trainer worked it out as roughly 8kgs of gain, but you're right in saying not all of it would be muscle.
  21. Do you clean and press? Or just power clean? Try doing clean and press, it makes a massive difference. I've put on 8 kilos of muscle mass in the one month I've been training since I got back from Europe. Following Matt Marshall's guide, anyone here heard of him? I find his workouts absolutely amazing, nothing has ever worked for me so well.
  22. Pretty sure it's always been those prices. Farkin bullshit when you have to pay for a reinspection to get an extension when you haven't changed anything... Like when I had to replace the aluminium pedals on my car with factory rubber ones, I couldn't find a factory accelerator pedal so I bought one from Nissan. Was gonna take 4 weeks to arrive so I tried to explain that to the pits. Nope, I had to get the car inspected that week to get a two week extension, then again in two weeks to get another one week extension. Had to pay fucking $185 despite knowing that it was going to fail each time.
