who used http://www.tirerack.com/ ? how much was shipping? what did you buy ect ect. with the US as weak as a 2 year old, perfect time to buy stuff from America. Unlike australia their tyre prices are actually reasonable so yeh, i wish to get a set of tyres from tirerack just wondering if its worth all the trouble.

need some new tyres. really want maximum grip in the dry but also reasonably safe grip in the wet. i was think toyo r1rs, 235/45/17s? (rim size 17x9.5+19) what's the average price of this size? cant really find any sites that give on the spot tyre pricing. any other tyres that are recommended? maybe federal RSRs. aiming for less then $250/tyre.

it's likely the key wasn't damaged in the fire. the plastic end would have burnt off but the melt shouldn't have melted. skyline keys are just keys, if you copy the key it ll work. however, im unsure how the remote locking system works. you ll probably be required to reprogram that with a new remote.

id take a SR20VET or honda KA20.

the police REFUSE to work with the import community in melbourne. down here things wont change, the system works in their favor.

best bet would be a collectors auction or something similar. maybe ship it back to japan for auction depending on how rare it is.

lols but at least it looks epic. that's the same bullshit they use for too low. my front is very slightly sunken, rear is flush with camber then again, car is stock height to doesn't really matter. avoid certain areas(like knox) and you should be alright.

while ill never say fwd cars cant race, i would never buy one for racing or even as a weekend car. rwd cars just are more fun and in the end that's what's important.

even the super GT cars only run 14" wide. f1s its 315s on the rear, i think. would be cheaper and better to get a set of smaller semis.

best place to go would be the traffic solicitor. tell him your case as truthfully as possible and ask his recommendation.

out of interest, why dont/cant you run an o2 sensor?

if its still as visible as standard, it should be fine. i rewired my indicators to the parkers in my s14 cuz i didn't like the stock indicators. sure they flash a little faster now but as visible as before.

shame. warnings would have been nice so the thread didn't have to go.

why did a mod delete my drugs thread in wasteland? it's locked and i cant access it anyone. there was a lot of valuable data collected and overall civil discussion, i fail to see why it needed deleting. oppressive much?

sr20. between 9L and 14L/100kms. i average around 12L/100kms though (including to/from work, hills and normal weekly trips).

ecu doesn't wear but the engine does. o2 sensor has been replaced many times. it's been running so rich, when i took the exhaust off the cat was burnt out, completely. still sure it's the cheap power chip.
