  1. So wrong...
  2. My GTX3071 finally arrived, the 1.06 rear housing is way too big but I may use it to jig up the adapter and pipes then try it out. Whats the worst that can happen, a bit of lag? Lazy to build boost?
  3. New toy. GTX3071.
  4. It would need to plug into the CAN line through the OBD2 port and speak shit to the ecu, not sure I like that idea
  5. Those throttle controllers only change the resistance of the pedal giving you a "simulated" faster acceleration curve as if you had put your foot down quicker on the pedal. The updated emanage software may already have one built in as I found it the other day, when I fitted the Vmanage... Definitely looks like Gzone is the way to go. (if we have an open line of communication.)
  6. It sounds like he knows nothing about Stagea's or the VQ25det... I would prefer a Japanese ecu reflash as they have had many more years to refine theirs, unless this is a user programmable option? Uprev is a US company making tuning solutions for 350z, theirs are OBD2 compliant, ours aren't so completely different ecu's.
  7. I blocked mine, it can cause issues with part throttle coming off boost but nothing bad. Just tap an m5 thread and grub screw it, that way its easy to remove if you don't like it. How were you pressurising the intake?
  8. Downloading now, will this be an English version with all the newer models in it?
  9. Innovative got a bad name a few years ago when the voltage regulator circuit inside them would overheat causing them to fail. They seemed to have fixed the issue as mine has been working in my daily for over a year with the unit tucked under the carpet. I have had the sensor in the dump too, with no sensor failures yet. It is a very fast and sensitive output and the numerical gauge can be hard to read with the numbers moving fast, go with the dial if you can.
  10. That might work with an RB but VQ25det is a different kettle. I havent needed to adjust my map as the Caltex eflex has been nothing but consistent so far, no matter what servo I fill at. I just run a simple wideband and will trim the tune if needed using the injector size adjustment on my Emanage Ultimate.
  11. They seem to work well, even in the stock o2 location. The innovative is very jumpy when placed that close.
  12. The bracket should fit around the 3 inch pipe, and it fits on perfectly as the dump flange is in the stock location. I have used it on a couple of installs but I drove mine around for over a year with no problems, and my exhaust and turbo have been a lot hotter than most. I doubt it will be a issue.
  13. It was well and truly maxed by 220, as the pressure dropped after that point and the injectors had to be opened exponentially to squeeze more flow out of it. Not where you want to be, fuel supply wise especially if you have stock injectors.
  14. Jethro's maxed at 220wkw. It should be ok. Just run a relay and run the walbro at 14v mate.
  15. I had the same issue with my ID1000's, I asked the injector specialist and he told me not to worry as its just a coil with no reason to suggest a polarity on the plug as either way would energise it. I still wired them up as per the plug though and obviously have no issue. Im temporarily running the stock turbo at the moment until my GTX comes this week and it idles perfectly on ethanol with the 1000's.
  16. Yep, and the rears can be rolled a bit, the fronts are already rolled. Those sizes will stick out about 10-15mm I think, possibly more than 19 inch tyre stretch will help with but you wont know until you put them on. I would suggest test fitting them before you buy. I know my 17x9 drifteks are perfect at +30 with a 255 with tyre but with 19 inch I couldn't tell you.
  17. I think the fronts will stick out a bit with that offset, +30 or +35 is usually recommended.
  18. The Springvale pump does the same thing, just hang it up and start again. It seems to do it when they don't enable the pump quick enough.
  19. Bad connection on the relay or fuse you installed?
  20. The stock disks are 22mm new, 20mm minimum if I remember right. 32 gtr disks are 32mm new, 30mm minimum, well worth the upgrade.
  21. Whats wrong with the fuel pump mate? Did you end up running full voltage to it? If its in the stock housing it shouldnt cut out at all as it sits in a cup in the tank, is it when low on fuel or all the time?
  22. Haha, bitch of a job but now you have done it, next time will be easier right? You have progressed to the next level mate.
  23. Sounds like the pump, does it start if you hit the tank where the pump is?
  24. I agree, the 4k stall will help. I will try it out, hopefully the flanges are the same and I can just order the .82 later, when it comes back in stock.
  25. Finally I got word the GTX3071 has arrived and will ship after Easter, They were going to send the Tial .82 with it but that is now out of stock even though I ordered it 2 months ago, not happy. It seems the only Tial housing they have left is the 1.06, is that going to cause me too much lag for a 2.5? I have a VQ35 im building up which would love the extra AR so im not too worried, just wondering if it will work well on the 2.5 for now or if its overkill?
