they are supposed to give chase to 160 then stop, often they don't but if anything goes wrong they are in big poo poo. Most skylines I've driven will do 160 in 3rd, easy. Just as long as its not somewhere ludicrous IE in a school zone etc you should only ever been worrying about that sort of speed on the motorway/industrial park/salt flat anyway, you know, time and place and all ? I mean really, if your speeding anything over sort of 10 up in a built up area where you cannot possibly predict what is coming from where, you deserve to get hung anyway. In saying this, drive to the conditions, how most speed limits are selected is a very arbitrary process anyway so I guess you could say that if that's as much thought as the people in charge put into the speed limits of various areas then they can't be surprised when people give the limits that same level of thought on their way to work every day. People are still going to speed anyway, we'll probably have a larger amount of road deaths this year then last, judging by the figures, which I guess shows the effectiveness of the various speed enforcement programs around the country Moral of the story, you can generally feel what is a safe and acceptable limit for the road your driving on, it won't be the same for all drivers and all cars, but I guess that's what situational awareness is for, drive to conditions and that includes the drivers around you.

the pulsar proponent DARES to scoff at the MX5...

Yeah but having driven a turbo modified one around some serious hills you can more or less laugh at the 80% of cars on this website that would fall off the road trying to keep up with you Lol.

When I lost mine I had a maximum of 4 points, easy to lose 4, one offense really.

still tossing up (fap fap fap Lol) which sup to get, something easy to sink all protein and no carbs would suit me well, I don't care about taste, if it truthfully tastes good then Yeah I will hold out for it, but most of them taste so bad you can't really worry about it Lol. PS. the best motivation is feeling increased strength and muscle growth, pretty happy at the moment so I am upping the amount of different exercises I do per workout, in go squats and a few other old faithfuls.

Bmw's Front-Wheel Drive Car Spied
Nee-san replied to craig V8 taffe's topic in General Automotive Discussion
AWD has it's advantages when your in a traction limited environment although I'm not just talking when its wet or your driving on gravel etc. talking street redialed tyres on pretty much any car I would prefer AWD, with the benefits of each platform increasing with the level of power output your talking about. I'll leave the rest of the discussion in the other thread for now. -
I was in your exact situation 5 months ago...... lets just say I get my license back in 1 month now instead of having it for the last 2 months.... And I don't drive like a dick, never been done for high speed, DUI etc etc and Never been done in my GT-R take the three.

When I lived in Buderim with my parents, we had a neighbour with an RX3 PP 12a Atmo that he used to like to warm up for 3 minutes before he went to work at 5am every morning. Brap Brap Brap LOL. Dad loved it. -

Look at the attitude of the cars, massa was in front, hamilton made contact and f**ked up Massa's corner exit, if it was anyone else they would be penalised, god with the shit hamilton has gotten away with this year... They need to have a points system like football for dickheads like Hamilton and Simoncelli who seem to enjoy crashing their way through the race.
-
they only say they don't have team orders in the nice clean situations when they don't have to make them. Hamilton should get a penalty for driving into Massa, he seriously shouldn't have a free pass to crash into whoever he likes, I don't give a f**k if its "exciting or what the fans want to see" is it a sport or not ? Pretty entertaining race though. guess webber is going to stay on, otherwise he would've passed f**k head.

I graduate next year, my 5th Year of Mech Eng and Motorsport. And I'm still waiting for an actual scientific response from either Warps or Mad other then, "Yeah you can power out of oversteer" or "I drove a SSS pulsar once, it was better then a corolla". In my post I referred to some FWD being advantageous in very very specialized fields, I was referring to autocross/gymkhana in this statement, which Warps later backed up in his post. I'm not saying anyone who drives a FWD is a dickhead or is slow, because they can be made to go fast relatively but I stated in my post that they are Not as good, this is Not an opinion but a general consensus formed by many many years of engineering development. If you want a example, real world style. Look at the BTCC, FWD get the smallest weight penalty then RWD, then AWD, Why is this ?

I'de like to think I have a pretty good idea of what I'm talking about and the fact remains that they are not as good pure and simple. They are forever tied with the shopping trolley shitbox market purely because that is all they are good for, except maybe in some very very specialized fields. This is the truth, there is no misinformation and I call upon anyone to give me a engineering level explanation on why they disagree. I agree the sportscar market is not at all what it used to be, I guess just a product of the economic and facetious environmental market we are currently in. I've driven lots of Falcons and commodores, they are fine cars to get around in but they are in no way sporting, which is absolutely fine because they are in no way designed for that purpose, people delude themselves into this false reality somehow.
