  1. It still won't let me, says you can't receive any new PM's.
  2. What a race ! That was worth the price of admission ! Well done to Jense and Schumacher. Vettel, 10000000000000% hack.
  3. Yeah, hoping Kob has a good crack at Vettel, Commentary has been surprising good considering what they've had to work with. Hamilton at fault in all 3 of his incidents today, with Fitipaldi on the stewards bench I wouldn't be surprised if he cops something such as a 5-10 place grid penalty at a minimum.
  4. Excessive lowering will be detrimental to the handling of your 34 as they are double wishbone. S series chassis are McPherson strut and I would not call them good handling cars by any stretch of the imagination.
  5. Lol, Should be a good race, Vettel seems to be getting the best out of the Red Bull, there are four guys that can win the race tomorow it seems. +1 for Massa, looks in the best shape of the season. I will reserve judgment on the rain setup until the race finishes dry tomorrow, afterall, the alogythms and simulations they use for race pace are actually very accurate, must be boring knowing where you'll come in the following race upto the last few seconds. McLaren knew they didn't have outright pace, so they gambled with the setup we will see if it pays off. oh and +1 for Kob for effort, loose as a goose through the final chicane, impressive stuff.
  6. I'm of the belief that without retuning for mods that have a big impact on the engines performance your pissing in the wind a bit. You're right though, there are alot of people getting around just on the standard ecu, not optimal, but not catastrophic.
  7. Yeah maybe if the shop was doing a ground up rebuild of the entire car.... It's ballistic money, and not what I would consider amazing value, but what other people do with their own money is not really my business
  8. I can accept it though because Le mans and Moto GP are on best weekend ever ~!
  9. http://www.abc.net.au/local/audio/2011/06/09/3240161.htm Worth a read.
  10. agree but i seriously dont know.how it would cost you 100k plus car
  11. They could technically pull you up for some of these things but without the ability to actually test your car (compared with other states) it is not too bad here in Queensland. ECU, Injectors and boost controller are a few things that you can probably get away with as they can be hidden completely.
  12. Dr Wheel I think his name is on the gold coast. Had my 4 apexi's done through him. Straightened, cleaned, pulled apart, polished etc etc. Came up mint and was pretty reasonable.
  13. Sorry to revive this thread, djr81, I think your PM inbox may be full, I tried to send you a message and it says you can't receive any more. Cheers, Mitch.
  14. No Problem Khe, I will call Ian today and get you invited to the Facebook page with all the details.
  15. I guess the idea is that with the GRP A cars it's more a Historic/nostalgia event. WTAC is a super competitive speed event, that car was only ever built to win or compete at the very top of the field (Other wise it would not be worth the money they spent building and developing it). I can totally see the reason behind not running it considering it has not been developed since 2007. I heard recently its record at Buttonwillow has been broken (some 2+ years later Lol) and considering it has not been developed since it would not be ideal to run the car, as much as I and everyone else would like to see it. Still going to be awesome to see in the flesh though
  16. What gearbox are you going to run bro ?
  17. As an atheist I pray that labor gets dropped in the next election and in a big way (It's looking this way anyway) looks to be the defining issue of the political landscape for the next few years, sad really , when there are more important things to worry about, like healthcare, education, and continued economic growth, not to mention border protection.
  18. Buy one, paint it pink much traffic light lulz will ensue.
  19. It gets rather tedious doing over 15km.... big time Lol.
  20. The ECU is the nexus for all your power mods, do this first, do it once and do it right. After that, think about what makes an engine and produce power, and go about changing things in areas in which your car is deficient. Decent Tyres and brakes come before all of this though. Congratulations and good luck
  21. I feel pretty good, so I think I'll give it a go, used to go running no matter how sick I was but I've moved on from that level of stupidity Lol. Cut the run for tonight and just hit the gym. Worthwhile using a mens multivitamin or something ? I get sick probably once or twice a year for a day at most so it makes it extra frustrating when it does happen.
  22. That's a very quick 3 km man. Lol. It's weird for me doing such a short distance. Need to get my short distance up
