  1. would just buy a Nismo if you were looking to buy New
  2. Really looking at the gauge that much?
  3. Lodge a complaint for sure- Then change insurance company ASAP
  4. Ricky - Did you go through you insurance company or the other drivers? As the post above got me thinking, When not at fault you mearly have to tell you insurance company what happened, Just for the record, Then the rest is up to there company.
  5. Why go big fuel pump, injectors and even turbos without doin afm? A pair or z32's for $300-400
  6. Really dont want them unless there a must
  7. other thread went missing? Anyway, Are these EBC good to use for a boost reading instead of a Stand aloen boost gauge?
  8. 7 year bump! There was mention here of not needing a boost guage if you have a EBC that read peak boost ect. My car has no stock boost guage as it was NA. I do have a Greedy profec b2 thats going in. can i forgoet about spedning the money on guages?
  9. dam you all, I want my feeeking car back already
  10. id be bloody filthy mate! Do what yo can to get what your entitled to and what youve paid for. Almost sounds you would of been thousands in front if you have Third party only huh.
  11. Theres a Nismo fuel pump in FS section for $250, apprently not much use in it. Could be worth a try for sure, his in Melb aswell.
  12. Give Tuspeed a call mate, the ID's were like $750 delivered, Then give Tuff car parts a call and order the collars/adapeters to suit the Std Rb26 rail, They were about $45 delivered
  13. ID1000's are tired and tested among many user here, with great results. Thats was a good enough reason for me to buy them Nismo fuel pump is straight drop in but you pay for it. Just get someoen to intall the 044 with a direct feed of the battery and youll be fine. Weight up the cost with labour and you might be close with just getting a nismo and DIY
  14. is it a must to do the front, OR wil a rear Nismo ect do the job? hence not full time AWD
  15. i will dig up the quote, But its was a fair bit, The total premuim ened up being close to 4k for full comp and everything disclosed, Engine conversion, Buit engine, turbos, ECU, intake mods, exhaust , coilovers ect ect
  16. Good idea - Though when dissclosing mods, did they ask what you think its valued at. i woudlent be inclined with things like head units ect. As when i was calling and getting quotes i noticed my premuim was so much extra beacsue i said my wheels were worth 2k- headunit worth 1k. Speakers ect ect. I was testing the waters to see what is effected when i add value to the overall car. but if i spend 2k on a clutch. I would want that to be added into the agreed value- Mabey it possible to list mods with no value, but do our own cost on what weve put into the car mods wise and come to a happy meduim with an agreed value. Ie, if i got market value for my car, Which they said was 9k. But ive put 30K of mods in and theres no salvage rights, Seems to defeate the purpose.
  17. hi pics of R33 GTS/GTST - GTR Style front grill (suit GTS/GTST only) R33 eye lids
  18. First up- Mods if this need to be moved do so, But wasent going to start the group buy thread untill i get some solid intrest and all the details. So - Not sure whos thread this stemed from but i mentioned a group buy for KOYO radiators. I have contacted them in the US and found the one and only Australian distributor, ADRAD. i had recived a few pm's on intrest a few weeks back, But would like to get a good idea of numbers to see if this is worth while for us all. Plan is to get all these freighted to my place in Sydney NSW, and you can come pick up from me, OR i can post out ect ect. I have already confirmed that there is a diffrance in price between R32 and R33 ect ect. How much, I will find out tomorrow, So - Put you name and car down and ill report back in with pricing. Cheers
  19. Just gave JustCar a call regarding the Unlimited "legal" mods. So how its works is- they will cover any mod that we deem to be legal- and its out duty to disclose that Come time to claim, They will call the RTA to check the car is road worthy ect. They will not ask for engineering cirts or anything like that. If they take your premuim Ie they insure you, You WILL be insured for what you have agreed on. Also they will still pay a claim out if there is an illigal mod on the car that you did not know about I think a few more calls through out the week and i will have a solid answer What i would also be inclided to do when taking on a new policy, Is record the time and date and WHO you spoke to, Id even ask then or be recording the converstation my self. otherwise its your word agaist theres, and then they will just say, Its what the PDS says. WHich i think is very vauge.
  20. another catch mate- and as Cef33y stated jsut another way to make more money. Would be good if we had somone on here who has actaully had to made a sucsessful claim with a highly modded car.
  21. Ahhh- Fair call then, I thought you had a direct feed and it dropped off,- Votage from the battery is pretty standard now i think when goign aftermarket
  22. I dont think you would, it would all be in the PDS, Though most wont cover any non factory parts or mods thats have not been agreed on, And when i say agreed i mean in writing, No taking word form some nit in the call center. usually find, Call 3 times, Get 3 diffrent answers.
  23. bit OT- But what was the casue of it only getting 9v?
