  1. Actually where credit is due. They did a good job on the start up sounds for all the premium cars. I would have spent a good few hours just listening to them all, lol.
  2. The cars' sound were recorded on a dyno? What the hell? I could have sworn they were made up on the last day with a synthesizer.

  7. Well i found out today that the power steering fluid thats used for "Late model Fords" is no good to use in a skyline, or any other car infact. I think it was too thin. It didnt like it at all.

If you have high expectations expecting an interior from a jap import who made the interior cheap and tacky on purpose to keep costs low; you're gonna have a bad time. want a fancy interior and lots of space? get a toyota aristo same motor as the supra and just about as quick. Honestly you get a stupid amount of car for the price of them.

  11. put it this way, the supra comes with a factory RB26/30DETT, rated to 600-700rwhp safely 6 speed gearbox ready to run 7's on the 1/4 mile, or handle around 1000rwhp but its a bit of a boat and not so practical for a daily shit. now i want that black supra, does it include the girl?
  12. I was getting huge brake fade after 4 laps (5minutes?) in my 33 gtst standard brakes with remsa pads. I think you did pretty well
  13. correct me if im wrong but the latest news on gt6 hasnt mentioned anything about improving sounds and all the gt4 cars are still going to be in the game by the looks of it but hopefully they can be modified as much as the premium cars.
  14. I noticed that Marc, its cool watching a replay with surround sound. Well not really, the cars still sound like modified vacuum cleaners. IMO its just one of the many stupid things in the game that has had too much time and effort put into it, where resources could have been put to better use in other departments.
  15. After months and months of being off the road i finally got my R33 driving! It now has the BB ATR43G3 type B rear housing (internal gate) making 336rwhp on 24psi, fullboost by 4000rpm. Previous tune by the same tuner was 346rwhp on 17 psi, fullboost by 4200-4300rpm. I know the power figures are low but it could be because of various things to do with my setup or the motor i chose to rebuild, also the dyno reads low from what they tell me. Anyway some things i've noticed, its hitting 24psi by pretty much bang on 4000rpm which is a nice improvement. Before i couldnt remember it losing traction in 2nd gear (265 wide federal RSR's), now it likes to wiggle and step out even if im dead straight, not sure if thats because of the temperature change or what. The best thing about it though is the almost instant boost recovery when changing gears, its like night and day compared to the previous ATR43G3. I dont think i even count half a second until i hear it back on song again, so nice job Stao. Good stuff jay-rod! Smashed my 65 second short track pb lol, my 1st time on Barbagello also. Are you gonna enter the jacks hill hill climb event on the 16th?
  16. Because im not rich enough to buy all the tracks or cars on iRacing, i find myself having to race the MX-5 all the time, although i guess for me it still gets the heart pumping when theres some nice clean door to door action with other drivers.
  17. check your VCT solonoid isnt spazzing out. unplug the connector going onto the solonoid, see if it stops hunting and clicking. feel it with your finger or put a screwdriver tip on it and your ear on the handle
  18. maybe give Head Torque in ozzy park a call, they are very cluey and might know some tricks.
  19. I dont have any graphs but iirc it was around 4200-4400rpm until 21psi.
  20. Thanks, i hope aswell but now im not really fussed if it doesnt match Stao's results, aslong as i can drive the thing im happy. I know the turbo's can make the power having made 279rwkw previously by a different tuner, i chose to go the type B for a little faster response.
  21. 4-5mm preloaded on it at the moment. I've never had the boost tapering off issue, infact its been the opposite with mine, pressure increasing towards redline.
  22. So car is booked in for a tune on thurs. previous tune was 345rwhp on 17psi with the now outdated ATR43G3 type A internal gate. Now has the later version with the updated comp housing i think, ball bearing cartridge and type B housing (thanks to Stao for uprading me for free!). Tuner has recommended to block off the BOV after i asked if the stock one could hold 20psi. Cant wait, havent boosted for about 3-4 months
  23. With the NPC carbotic, do you guys gently ease the clutch in when taking off, or just dump it with a few thousand rpm (like i do)? I heard these clutches CANNOT be slipped at all.
