  1. Turbocharging an NA car just screams "WARNING!!! DANGER TO MANIFOLD" to me.. Just my 2c.
  2. http://www.shredmotorsport.co.nz/technical/turbo-conversions/ http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/topic/171935-need-help-difference-between-rb25det-and-rb25de/
  3. Have you considered replacing the current motor with a used RB25DET Neo? Or even buying a GTST/GT-T? In the long run, the latter option would save you alot of headaches.
  4. Exactly. I remember that kaza-whateverhisnameis said the game was intended for the next playstation platform.
  5. http://www.cnet.com.au/gran-turismo-6-announcement-trailer-revealed_p2-339344319.htm#image1 Please let it have: Better sounds (Too much effort on screeching tyres and not enough on engine/exhaust sound) Better shadows (Come on it was like minecraft shadows) Better modification (None of this "Stage 1" shit. Body kits, wheels etc etc. Could learn a thing or two from Forza) And GTFO my game GT4 cars! Will pre-order it, but will try and not get my hopes up this time, lol.
  6. Damn, well that kinda sucks Martin.. Does it feel the same? Did it make any less power with lower boost? Like copycutter said, its all a process of elimination (a really f**king boring, tedious process sometimes )
  7. cool, interested to see what they can wring out of your setup.
  8. Looks friggen awsome. Would need one hell of an expensive computer to run the graphics settings on high though?
  9. the more they charge means the less they know about your car
  10. The cheapest way to get extra lock without welding is to pull the diff apart and replace the worn out shims with slightly thicker ones, which can be bought from Nissan. It can feel like a welded diff afterwards for some time though which is a huge PITA when you're driving around normally, but now you get powah to both wheels
  11. Dont forgot to take more vids Stao.
  12. that would be cool if you could mate.
  13. Cheers, ill give em a call tomorrow.
  14. Hey, does anyone know where i could get a couple exhaust valves for a series 2 RB25DET? I would like to get them before this weekend so anything overseas is probably out of the question, which sucks because they are about 1/3 the price from the US than here for OEM pieces. The dealer near me can get them in from over east for about $70 ea i think. But i was just seeing if theres some cheaper or quicker way of getting them.
  15. I was getting rolled by a FG XR6 turbo automatic ute and sedan at the drags, running low 13's everytime. Also sat in a mates FG XR6 turbo with a full exhaust and the thing has so much grunt down low, its pretty impressive. Overtook a BA XR6 turbo one day starting at 3rd position on the grid (behind him at the lights), he had a few passengers and i had a boosted stock turbo..
  16. very conflicting question you're asking. you've already done a big "dont", which is buying a screamer pipe in the first place. it will probably sound like a tractor on idle. cops will love it. (not really) pulling up to a car with a proper external gate to atmo and you will feel kinda ghey. keep an eye out for a 3.5/3in dump pipe for when you get sick of it/defected on the other hand, if its made for an RB it will most likely bolt straight on to your turbo/cat.
  17. good work guys. should make a nice improvement with a functional gearbox and grippier tyres. i thought RSR's were quite grippy but with 350rwkw maybe they dont stand a chance, especially with axle tramp going on. vids next time?
  18. Hey mate, thanks heaps for the post, thats some great info there.
  19. i have a BOV on my car and its pretty much the same as martin's car in terms of gear change turbo response.
  20. you are certain the rb25 BOV was leaking under boost? whats with everyone saying they are indestructible and can handle 11ty million psi?!
  21. What about some incar videos of a few gear changes on a "privately owned road"
