  1. - Biagio turbo from Sliding Performance - basic ECU and tune Shouldn't cost more than $2500 if you're smart.
  2. Apparently the HKS ride isn't safe any more. I dunno, it looks fine to me
  3. Time for an upgrade!
  4. The rain shat me so I went home. Very disapointing.
  5. I've been telling everyone you're not gay! What a fool I've been
  6. Is the RB20 in an R32 and the RB25 in a 33? It's a fairly broad question so I guess the broad answer of, "a little bit" will suffice I don't know mate. Best way to find out how much of anything your car has is to run it!
  7. I ran 275 Nittos on an 8" rim without any dramas at all
  8. All plotted from the same dyno run. Posted for interest's sake. The heading stuffed up on the torque printout - don't know why. Stock RB25DET, GT35, PFC, Eboost2, C4 Auto with very loose converter - Nitrous Oxide still to come
  9. That's right, it's what's inside that counts! Low 12's are definitely possible from a std turbo'd R33 gtst but having run mid 12's i wanted more than low 12's. Maybe if someone beats the 11.662 I'll take up the challenge again
  10. That makes more sense mate -
  11. I don't want to be cheeky mate but it's obvious you've never used Nitrous or you wouldn't make that statement. You're entirely correct that any fool can put a crap load of gas in to make the power but how long would that fools car last? 100hp is hardly a crap load and my car has had approx 200 passes on the bottle and it's still going strong. It takes more thought and planning to use Nitrous effectively than it does to set up a stock-ish 33 gtst to run 12’s. A lot more…
  12. Mate, my car is nothing special and when the magazine has that many Skyrines in it each issue, they have to talk up the differences between them. The main difference with mine was the gas so that's why they took that approach. I thought it was quite an entertaining read but I''m biased. At the end of the day, it's only a tenth quicker without the gas than what someone has posted they've run on this very thread. Each to their own I guess. The car is a shade different now though
  13. Let's call it an educated guess.
  14. 113mph was stock turbo? Bloody excellent if so. Quickest I ever ran (without the bottle) was 111mph and this was in perfect conditions.
  15. I'm happy to say that I called bullshit MONTHS AGO on this very forum!!!!
  16. I'm in
  17. The car had most of the usual stuff every other R33 GTST had. The Nitrous made 1 second difference. Things like good tyres (not slicks) and LOTS of practice are mandatory. Things like weight reduction and 300kW are not.
  18. It's my car - rev210 sold his R33 (in W.A.) and I've never even seen it! I bought his old Nitrous kit, maybe that's why you're confused. I'll post specs later. Adrian
  19. We'll see how the tune goes tomorrow night. At this stage I'm 95% there to be getting data to sort out the converter. I don't expect a full track, full noise pass at this stage.
  20. Visit www.dragtag.com.au and check out the pricing - it's all on there Re: Organisation of the skidpan, they've only just started doing this sort of thing. Give it a few meetings and it'll be running like clockwork. Go have a go yourself and check out the rent-an-r32 on drag tag or circuit tag while you're there for $10!
