  1. You won't have positive manifold pressure until your car is under load and you're off. The best you'll see on the start line is very little manifold vacuum - not boost. Just do it the way you described in your last sentence above and you'll be fine. Don't worry about tyre pressures or suspension for a while.
  2. Sorry, not true. Not possible in a manual at *this* level. Free revving the car before leaving the line is a very silly way of working out what type of launch revs suit your car. Experiment with holding the throttle at different rpm and work out where you're quickest to 60ft.
  3. I'd like to see pics of alleged number of Police vehicles outside the Drag Tag facility. Come on, someone had their mobile phone out for sure...
  4. lol
  5. Damn! Awesome work! I was too busy watching all the VL's in the 8's and 9's and Joe Gauci from Profab's Cortina running a PB 8.89 @ 153mph! Pics of setup please!
  6. PM sent
  7. It has adjustable sensitivity control which will help you tune out any spiking. It also uses a very good solenoid.

  9. Umm....yes that's exactly right. What's your question exactly? The topic is R33 gtst and high 12's. If you need 250kW and slicks you're a worse driver than my nan and she's 6 feet under.
  10. Someone tell me where you need 250kW to run high 12's?
  11. True. If you're diff is open-wheeling (spinning one leg) then it should be repaired or replaced. Fair enough.
  12. My post is based on times i've actually run in my car which is the same as the one in question. I have seen absolutely no reason to upgrade a diff to achieve these aims.
  13. And you wonder why the belt spiked you after this many runs?!?!
  14. Start at 15psi and drop in 1psi increments until you're happy. Don't go lower than 11psi.
  15. High 12's: 190kW Street Tyres Lots of Practice Mid 12's: 190kW Drag Radials Lots of Practice
  16. ...in exactly the same way injector trim % settings do. It's an easy way out because it's awesome!
  17. Off topic but just noticed this gem in your sig... ROFL @ that!
  18. Step 1/ Take it back to Advan with your concerns and have them addressed Step 2/ There is no "Step 2" until you've done "Step 1" Adrian
  19. Valentines day present to myself was a 12.069 @ 112.96mph No gas and a very loose converter too! Very happy indeed. Oh, I guess I'll be a sucker and buy her some flowers this afternoon - I'm a softie really
  20. I'm going racing - told wife to let me know how Valentine's Day works out for her!
