  1. No point. Buy an RB25 box and use that. They're very strong. I would say, equally strong.
  2. The biggest current weaknesses in Skylines are the drivers.
  3. Sounds pretty farkin good to me
  4. Higher front tyre pressure equals less rolling resistance - i.e. less to push. You don't need to steer when you're drag racing. Let them back down to whatever you usually run before you go home. Adrian
  5. Pic of engine bay? The problem with Peterson filters is they're all so big! Like these. Any solution on the horizon?
  6. You need to contact Stuart from Bezerkly Automotive. He has an R32 GTS with GTR rear guards, Profab 8-point roll cage and its ready to go. Stuart - 02 42261888
  7. Ouch. Did you only run a post filter for the engine?
  8. Is it through the auto? Are you still using the T51? Is it 2.7 litres now? That power is farkin awesome mate - very well done! Go the GTST's
  9. 22 rears and 50psi front.
  10. Whether the power curve is smooth or not can be a function of the scale of the dyno graph itself. Some tuners are known for making the vertical scale on a boost or AFR curve massive so the AFR and/or boost curve looks very flat. In saying that I would expect more power everywhere with 2530's.
  11. Rip the line off the gate so it doesn't open
  12. Sportsman Pro's look like this but are not exactly slicks. Better than regular street tyres for the drags though.
  13. Revving a 20B to 9-10krpm = entirely unnecessary..... The big BIG hp 20B's only take them to 8500 most of the time.
  14. It's Delihla
  15. When a trader is as pressed for time as Slide clearly is, AND when the standing offer of a refund is made, how can any of you bitch about it? I'm not trying to be argumentative but if you want a quality product at such a cheap price you should be prepared to wait for it. Slide could sell just as many highflows as he does today if they were $1200 instead of what they are right now so be a bit patient.
  16. B-Man gives no fark for manual tranny. B-Man leaves all the trannies to Beer Baron
  17. Ordinarily I'd say Steve Butchard from BMS as he makes fully manualised, normal (forward) pattern, NO ELECTRONICS modifications to JATCO's. He makes a transbraked valvebody for them that is the shiznit. I don't know how seriously you're going to want to drag race the car so unless you plan on putting slicks on it and turning into a rotary drag nut, I wouldn't bother with the transbrake. You should make a call to MV Automatics in S.A. and speak to him about the manual valvebody he does for the JATCO's. If it's the 300ZX box, it's an RE403A. Exactly the same valvebody as a Skyline RE401A and in fact, most of the parts are interchangeable. (403 will handle more torque than a Skyline/WRX 401A but the larger components absorb more power. A reasonable trade-off in the circumstances.) If Mike at MV can build you a box that is: A/ Completely manualised B/ Fitted out with tough steels, bands, clutches, etc C/ Refurbished and re-bearinged (is that even a word?) D/ Equipped with a converter of his manufacture ...then I'd say go with him for the box. He certainly knows his shit when it comes to JATCO's and although there isn't a transbrake option with his modified valvebody (i don't believe anyway) and the over drive (4th) gear will be a function of an electronic switch (possibly like it is now) it is almost certainly the best way to go about strengthening your box to handle what you're about to feed it. Cheers, Adrian
  18. Oh f**k yeah!
  19. The last thread was moved to a Moderators section because defamatory remarks were made by more than one person about a business trader on SAU. If this thread goes the same way, it too will be removed.
  20. I laugh whenever I saee TRAFFIC plates. Completely unnecessary.
  21. Sliding Performance Hi Flow or adapt a Biaggio from Slide to fit. Click the link in my sig for more info.
