  1. Apparently it was the under-tray that came off? Still impressive either way! That is FAST
  2. There is no set figure. Some people bust them with 330rwkw, some with 400rwkw. Depends on the life the box has had, condition, servicing, how you treat it etc. No golden answer just like any other part
  3. Because he is a very experienced tuner, and you are not?
  4. Ye the McLaren is clearly the faster car at this point. Lots of work for the teams now and will be interesting to see what happens in Malaysia. Although don't expect much improvements for a few rounds i would think Except maybe Ferrari. The engineers were very open about their expectation of not being super competitive with the brand new car, so 5th is a stellar effort and should improve
  5. Of course not. - Thread was bumped etc. No mention of anything - I then posted about the damage, giving seller a chance to come clean - Instead seller has someone ring ex-buyer and abuse them (looks like we know who that was) - Ex-buyer contacted me immediately - Photo's of damaged rims then posted public There was plenty of chance to come good, but sadly - not the case
  6. Can't say you weren't warned! They are pure gaming headphones for FPS type games where you need to hear footsteps better. For anything else, no good IMO and my Senn's are "good enough" for a FPS even with booming soundstage of bass
  7. Was reported long before the refund was given. We've been watching the outcome closely as we do with all reported bad trades. He wasn't offered a refund initially at all, it was almost 2 weeks before that came about (I have copies of the emails etc). Don't need to be a wheel expert, need xrays or an engineering degree to know about obvious cracks, bent lips & obvious poor repair. Anyone with their own eyes can see that. Funny that the initial photos showed none of the 4 separate areas of damage. Buyer also asked seller remove the tyres and inspect them for cracks. Only photo's sent were of of the inside of one wheel (ive seen those as well) Don't cry victim, i've dealt with more dodgy trades than i'd have liked. Pity people are dishonest in this world. And yet... Here you are
  8. 595ss/KU31 - same boat really. Both are not a decent performance tyre so you'll be making compromises. Depends what you want, and what your budget is. You would always drive slower in the wet around round-a-bouts, most people do that.
  9. You should have 20psi in by 4000-4200rpm. Not 4900rpm, no way my -5s are that laggy on my 2.6l Clearly your set-up needs better boost control and/or tuning.

  11. LLOL @ douchebags in Qantas getting told off by security. Muppets. Be interesting to see how Lewis interviews. And GO Dan Ric, great effort
  12. Lewis didn't look particularly happy getting outta the car!
  13. Be warned - with drag radials there is a fair chance you'll smash a front diff if it's a stocker. Could take the sump etc with it. I've done it, and a few other people are the trap have as well. Just something to be mindful of. Was managing 1.5 60ft's on a airport surface with 360rwkw/7800rpm launches.
  14. There is a lot more going on in the background that you realise, I've got a copy of all the emails and what not. The refund didn't come "easily". To say things are in ok condition when asking questions (before buying) - and then to have them rock-up totally farked? Then have PAY to have them shipped back at your OWN expense from a dodgy seller? Just flogged them off is exactly what happened. Then to make threats, just pathetic. SAU doesn't just ban people unless there is a very good reason as most cases it is indeed buyer beware, however you aren't allowed to just up and sell something (that is essentially useless, and you knew about it) for a reasonable amount - and not expect to be still using this site.
  15. Highly unlikely a hotdog will get you anymore than 1-2db in a proper test. Need a stock exhaust or a welded in silencer at the rear

  17. A street turbo that comes on @ 4500rpm - when you don't go over 5000rpm? 500rpm band... awesome.
  18. Buyer from WA PM'd me about 2 weeks ago saying there were issues etc. So eventually got a refund... Although, he had to PAY to have them shipped back to get it I've had the pics for a while. Wasn't gonna post them public unless it was warranted
  19. Closed. No price. Sounds like a business trader "Going to fabricate" If you wish to trade here, you are required to become a paying trader like all other businesses: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/topic/294953-are-you-a-business-want-to-advertise-on-sau-click-here/
  20. You'll love this one, especially you Momo http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/topic/388342-17-panasport-g7-polished-dished-wheels-rare/
  21. Jess - Getting your boyfriend (or whomever) to ring people and make personal threats against people as the truth has come out about what you are selling, it unacceptable. In 10 years, only one other time has there been incidents of (childish) personal threats. SAU will not tolerate a attitude like that. You are now banned. Not sure what your definition is, pics will tell the story. All the wheels have marks from bolt on spacers where someone has failed to properly cut down the original studs so that they have been sticking out further than the spacer preventing the wheels from being tightened properly Centre hub gouges Crack #1 Crack #2, pic 1 Crack #2, pic 2 Buckle #1 Hotspot #1 Flat spot #1 Flat spot #1
  22. ^ exactly. End of the day they are still ceramic rear. Utter waste of time to rebuild one. Add to the fact as GTSBoy said - you cannot just "rebuild" one yourself because you can turn a spanner. They need balancing using specific equipment you won't find in your typical workshop which means you'll be paying someone regardless
  23. Anytime The other cars today appeared to have more corner speed compared to the McLarens @ T1 However the McLarens were on the pedal a lot earlier out of the corner. Bet you didn't hear that in the pre-season internet jibber jabber.
  24. Full day of F1 action... Pits... Shell Corp area... Best part - they might be doing something with Ducati later in the year There is a god.
