  2. lol Adelaide you'll get a 60rwkw hike as a starting point
  3. Of course they won't. A change in attitude and behavior from both sides will though Remember a NOU is basically a TMU's only weapon to move people on, so of course they are going to use it. Doesn't take a genius to work that out. I get RBT'd so often its tiresome, but I understand the reason for it and don't complain to much and generally never get a defect
  4. Well tonight was interesting. Not quite the format I was expected and I’m surprised it took the line that it did – ACA didn’t really over sensationalise/blow up the hoon part of it at all, suppose it’ll depend on how things actually get edited so hold verdict till next week (when it’ll be coming out). There was some valid points raised by everyone that was there. Unfortunately there was no one from the Gov’t or local Council – given they are effectively the people with the money & power to actually make changes like more driver training/education & tougher licencing. Was good to see a Police officer there that is a member of the WRX club and gets to motorsport events also bringing up good discussion questions, even if they took a while to be answered What I really found interesting though was the younger guys they had there – honestly had no idea about how to get to a track day, what it involved or how they could go about it. They were not aware there were sooooo many Trackdays running @ Sandown each year. So perhaps something for the SAU-Vic Committee to think about in that regard in terms of getting involved and marketing to the younger guys to bring them to trackdays etc I’ve put out an invite to ACA to come along and actually see how we do motorsport in the legal manner off-street, and how someone can go about getting started etc. So lets see if they really are interested in doing something and take up the offer and do a piece I'm sure Birds will have a bit more to say later when he gets home (thanks HEAPS for giving me a lift there/back and sticking around man, appreciated).
  5. You can get it here in Aus, just have to find somewhere that imports it Thailand GP would be awesome. Can usually get sale airfares for around $550-$650 if you cattle class it. Cheap as fark country to holiday in, so tie that into it - awesome
  6. Closed. Read the forum rules before starting another thread.
  7. Yeah that wouldn't surprise me all that much. Going to be very careful, there was a clear list of "requirements" that i gave them as to participation. If they aren't met, i'll simply leave before it starts.
  8. I have no use for someone else's problems. Not interesed in trades.
  9. Interesting indeed given the GTR wasn't meant to be ready until 2013 This will be interesting indeed to see if they come back "again" lol.
  10. Yeah no real chance the "Flu" was 2 days, proper "Flu" will knock you down for 5 days easily. Common cold will last 2-5 days in most instances. Although interestingly, I don't worry about door handles etc. Also if i've got grease on my hands I'll still eat food with them and so on. I think you do build up a natural tolerance and "protecting" ones self by being "super hygienic" just means that when you forget routine of it or whatever, you suffer more greatly. Kinda like super bugs due to use of antibiotics
  11. R32 GTR to R32 GTR Vspec - same stuff really. No real "upgrade" to be had there. As for A-LSD of R33 VSpec, it's rubbish - I've killed mine and the only real solution is to go back to a non-spec rear end (R33 GTR is different), and then go with that diff which is mechanical as it's not worth rebuilding the A-LSD. Something to think about if your intend is on performance
  12. Yeah you'd need a tad more goceb you'd get there sooner without gearchange or lose momentum on limiter for that long... Depends on limiter type and usual other variables (rim/tyre)
  13. Glad someone else also picked up the total inaccuracy of that claim. 130mph in 3rd... Maybe at 12,000rpm
  14. Ensuring good amounts of sleep is probably the most important part. As I'm a shift worker I found myself getting sick quite often, simply due to terrible sleep amounts during the week 4hrs average with a big 12-14hr sleep one night over a weekend. I'd be sick for 5-6 days at a time. Now i aim for a min 7hrs sleep. Coupled with a good diet that includes a lot of vegetables/salads: broccoli, cauliflour, tomato, carrot, lettuce, green beans... Has pretty much kept me above board well for 12 months with minor colds if anything that last 36hrs at best. I also eat a lot of chilli & garlic. Vitamin C is only of use when you are run down. Remember a few studies (NFI from where), but having excess when you are healthy really offered no major effects. For those that get sore throats, which is usually how mine always start off... Hit it with Betadine Throat Gargle every 4hrs and you'll be amazed that literally overnight, you can cure even the worst sore throat
  15. Seb the stickers looks awesome down the side of the car, very well designed indeed. Little too much going on at the rear of the car though? Glad to hear its all coming along now after the wait time you had to endure with the motor etc. Hopefully the beans on the power its making over here in AUS get spilled soon! Also one point to remember the Lambo's in the vids are all carrying a H pattern boxes and shifted manually vs a DSG But i do agree with the rest. It's not until ~150mph the Lambos catching up. And not just catching either, they are utterly honking past on most occasions which is no small point really, to do that at such speeds is quite impressive in itself. Would be interesting if they both had DSG boxes i think
  16. Or go even smaller for the official wedding thing. And a week later have a big afterparty type thing... Problem is just my close mates who i talk with every day, there is about 20 of them and their +1, plus a few others & SAU dignatires - so that's upwards of 80 people just on my side without even really thinking about it... So ye, i think small-ish wedding and then hire somewhere a little fancy for some type of mega loooooose after party for the crew
  17. It's an Azn thing man... Not same as Aussie weddings. You gotta invite 11ty. Mine, should i find someone that can actually tolerate me, will be small 60-70 people. Rather have it like that with a place that does decent food rather than go en-masse and pay out the a$$ for 100+ people and decent food, or 100+ with crap/shit food etc.
  18. Oh and this was only for Friday night. Gotta come home Sat as Sunday I have BB stuff to attend too
  19. Read back a few pages. Mark has his finger on the button with most of this stuff it seems. Cyber EVO had, an EVO. However Cyber EVO are doing a R35, was meant to be 2013 though?!?!? Whether they are calling it Cyber EVO (as in the team) or not Cyber GTR (with new model in the naming) i do not know. Steve - If you know more - SPILL
  20. GTX 2860 Lowmounts: (skip to last say, 3 pages or so) http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/topic/384897-new-garrett-gtx2860r-2863r-2867r/
  21. Doesn't matter anyway - he hasn't looked at SAU since 2010, and hasn't owned Racepace for around that amount of time either I do know where the car ended up, and given recent goings on... Recent posts have been somewhat interesting. But anyway - back to talking about 400rwkw. Hell perhaps we even need a 500rwkw thread given Gav's results!
  22. Replied to PM Unfortunately I'm not a tyre/wheel shop. I cannot tell you how they will/wont look on your car and if they will fit or not. It's up to you to work that out.
  23. Your last thread was moved to the "WTB Section" for a reason... Don't start anymore thanks.
