  1. This is what I'm wondering. If he is not upgrading turbo, then Splitfires will more than handle the task for a GT3076 as they are only ever going to push 300rwkw (400rwhp) on PUMP. Hell Splitfires will do 400rwkw (545rwhp) as many have before. Well beyond what a GT3076 will ever make. But... To go to 485rwkw (650rwhp), you'd be putting a very sizeable turbo on there, so big you would not be even mentioning anything based on stock ignition at that level.
  2. Yeah Link haven't been a Nismo supplier since mid/late 2011 or so. They did a huge stock clearance around Sept from memory. Although I think they still have some stuff left on hand, not much though.
  3. Where you looking/working out boost? Just going off 90mph where it looks like everything starts to happen... 90mph = 145kph = 5180rpm (300rwkw)
  4. where did you "hear" this from? It's factually wrong.
  5. Huh? Was just providing information/examples... I really cannot see how it's going to sit perfectly on the bottom with g forces you can feel heavily and 25 degree angles and the fuel is being pushed to the side, not bottom, in such a situation.
  6. Yeah just go through the usual shit. Check the timing, ensure the belt isn't off a tooth or similar. Comp test and so on. You've already said it stalls so likely VAC leaks somewhere as well which won't be helping matters. Could be many things really, just have to work at it slowly. Hardly anything to worry about yet. Find the issue and you'll be sorted. Wind in 20psi and you'll see 200-220rwkw. In fact if you did that now, and tuned it. You'd be around 200-210rwkw which realistically isn't "that" far off the mark. Hard call when you aren't using genuine housings.
  7. Fill a bottle 1/4, tip a bottle 25 degree's and then spin in a wide circular fashion - Not a perfect showing, but the water doesn't exactly sit on the bottom. Then add 200km/h and a bumpy surface for shits & giggles... I've also done what... Maybe 100-150 limiter launches? Then there are the cars with 380-400rwkw that run around Philip Island, on semi comps, with in-tank's and no failures. Properly mounted that aren't a problem that anyone down here has been on the bad end of.
  8. I didn't read the first post at all Just skipped to the power numbers in latter posts haha.
  9. Hasn't been a problem for my Nismo in tank... Even on the bank of the Thunderdome at full noise (25 degree angle), was fine.
  10. If it's an EVO - 260awkw is NOT the same as a 260rwkw as EVOs are full time AWD. 1000cc are needed to support 270-300awkw in a EVO. Your tuner is correct, don't listen to the other guys saying otherwise. Also 400awkw through an EVO will be... Interesting. Are you really going to go that far?
  11. For R35s you mean... I mean what other cars other than a 370Z do they sell here that would actually make upgrades viable... A "Nismo Edition" Pathfinder?

paved & concrete. It's not hard on cars/tyres much at all if you don't want it to be.
  13. Read the motorsport section "tow cars" About 3-4 people have them, love them. Good mate of mine has one as well, loves it. No major issues with it at all. For the money they are hard to fault.
  14. Read the GB Rules and post an update with ALL the MISSING information, or this will be closed.
  15. Next time you all suspensions. Off-topic chat in For Sale will not be tolerated. DO NOT POST unless you are INTERESTED in purchasing the car.
  16. A GT3040 more responsive on a RB20 than a RB25?
  17. You cannot tell from the outside if it's genuine or not. A shot of the engine bay is the fastest way as a GTS-R has a totally different A/C set-up to other HR31s. Almost impossible to replicate without being obvious, you'd have to buy a complete A/C off a wrecked one. So ask for a few shots of the bay. FAST doesn't tell you as Pete said, you can send an email to R31House/Shibata San. The language barrier can be a bit of a problem haha. Depends where the rust is in the rear, and how much there is. I'd also say there would be rust in behind the front guards and the chassis if the rear has rust. It's quite common as leaves/dirt block up the drainage over time. Drivers seat looks like something after market with a cover over it. Funnily enough I have a second seat of GTS-R driver/passenger seats Agree with pricing.
  18. Post a price or this will be locked

  20. Thread cleaned. Next time you'll all get warnings. Admin are cracking down on off-topic and pointless posts in For Sale. Enough is enough.
  21. Thread cleaned. Warnings given. A lot of you are repeat offenders in For Sale with off-topic chat. Keep doing it you'll end up banned.
  22. You'll spend easily 8k by the time you've done it all, potentially more. Whilst it's out you might as well give the head a tidy up & new springs and so on, sort out all the oil issues etc. Hence just wait till it breaks. It might not, and you are financially much better off. If it does, then deal with it.
  23. I said the same thing to someone last week actually who said they were going... It was met with much confuse... Don't see how though when you look at the flyer.
  24. Just use GTR Rods & pistons to suit, tried and proved to over 400rwkw. You'll save another $600 or so there if needed.
