  1. It's Practice - realistically means nothing. Plus half of P1 was wet. After being in the Pits for a few hours today and watching the cars there is only one clear distinction so far. The McLaren's look totally different to any other car out there today. The nose cone and front section/aero is nothing like the rest of the field. It'll be interesting to see what occurs on race day. Is it an advantage or will the simply fall away? Most other cars nose-cone & front end wise are reasonably similar.
  2. Noise can vary in DB with something a simple as a wall. Most tracks have restrictions. And then also some have "X" amount of "unrestricted" days. Just a matter of if you get pinned or not, and that depends then on the position of the pickup
  3. Bit misleading to be selling damaged wheels - and not informing the buyers - Two of the wheels are buckled - Both of the buckled wheels have flat spots/bent lips - One has a large crack Bit hard "not to know" they were in this condition if you own them. Buyer Beware
  4. They will always get worse. Hence build the car to be as legal as possible. And if not, reduce swap-over time. In less than 60mins I can have my car legal. And even then it's hard to pick initially anyway. Smart modding = win.
  5. I never got one for free! An idea was tossed around tonight to bring up a R32 GTR from down here... Strap on a larger single that is already on it and just come up for some fun. When is the latest you need to know by Andrew?
  6. Good vid dude, came up nice
  7. BIGBOSS... 2 people questioning where goods are... Where there are 2, there are usually more. All other users - until explanations/information is given - suggest avoiding this seller.
  8. What?
  9. Problem with ebay gauges as i see it... One set might be fine. Another set might be out of whack - measurement wise. So as long as you check them after installation (like boost, use a known working one from workshop) etc. Then OK to use. But just remember if they come up as not working so well, you might have done your cash.
  10. Ye thats fair enough. But i bet the vast majority of others here - do not So pony up $20 each you guys. If in 10 years you have issues with cancer, you'd wish everyone else would've chucked in some cash sooner for a possible cure/better chance @ life etc.
  11. orly i didnt see yours in the list
  12. Might come back with new version. Can't say ive looked for that feature. As the other log-in issues are fixed, 3.2 upgrade is delayed as the shop and for sale revamp is being built So will be 1-2 months likely before you'd have access to feature (if it's even there)
  13. The old "cheap insurance" argument is a bit silly really. It's not insurance if there is nothing wrong with the oil. I'd seriously go and get it tested next time and just see where it's at. I'd be surprised if it's any different 500km of 1500km. Meaning you are adding time/cost/effort for no reason and putting in slighly thicker/better oil could certainly help. I'd give it a go if I was you man
  14. You do realise the reason for the oil getting up there in the first place is the issue? Hence the restrictors. Not just RB26's either, RB25 heads suffer the same thing etc. Englarging the returns/drains is only one piece of the puzzle Why do you change so often? If there is nothing actually wrong with the oil - changing all the time is just costing you money. I'd be surprised if you got it tested and after 500kms there was any degradation at all. Meaning you could use it for another 500km easily Then changing every 1,000km (or even 2,0000) and perhaps use a better oil that might aid in alleviating and protect better as well - Just an idea And as the others have said, have you actually done a leak down test? Sounds like just comp tests you've done... Which won't neccesarily tell you the full story.
  15. So you lot - what haven't any of you kicked in?? http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/topic/394651-shitbox-rally-cancer-council-fund-raiser/ I'm just waiting for my PayPal to clear and I'm chucking $100 in. It's tax deductable as well people - Even if it's only $20, get behind it i say!
  16. I think the option is gone. I had a quick look and can't see it anywhere!
  17. When you are ready to follow the forum rules, start another thread.
  18. Just finished watching: Hell and back again One impressive film indeed, quite an eye opener indeed. Do recommend.
  19. Spend more and you can have both
  20. Have a look in the For Sale section - and see what other people are selling them for: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/forum/56-for-sale-private-whole-cars-only/ No need for pictures etc, can see this turning into a For Sale thread... When you've done some research, feel free to post up a For Sale thread in the For Sale section:
  21. Well.. If he said you'll get it in the mail - guess what? You'll get it in the mail You really need to have a read of this thread. It'll give you a fair idea of what you need to change. You'll only need to change the things that can be picked up. ECU is obvious, you already know that. So what else does the ECU control? Injectors, AFMs etc. Only stock items can run on a stock ECU etc.
  22. threads merged read forum rules next time before spamming singular item threads.
  23. the spelling mistakes in the pictures is probably the funniest part clearly someone in need of basic education
  24. This will go nowhere Just like all other threads when hoon stories go up on the news.
